The Ducati, Honda and Kawasaki teams began testing at the Australian Phillip Island circuit today, having flown directly from last weeks Sepang tests.
As is often the case with the coastal circuit, weather looks to play a part in this weeks test. Rain is forecast for tomorrow and as a result riders tried to complete as many laps as possible, with Repsol Honda riders Nicky Hayden and Dani Pedrosa in particular lapping heavily, completing 114 and 111 laps respectively.
