Ducati's good form has continued today with Sete Gibernau and Loris Capirossi once again ending the day quickest.

On qualifying tyres, Gibernau's best time was a 2'01.03 and Capirossi's was a 2’01.08. With race tyres their times were 2'01.83 and 2'01.64. All of those times are good enough to be unofficial lap records, with the current record achieved by Capirossi when qualifying for last season's Sepang race standing at 2'01.731.
