Marco Melandri will have ended today frustrated after a second crash at the Sepang circuit. Despite falling at high speed the Italian rider was fortunate enough to escape unhurt.

Having had a 'strange' day yesterday where his RCV was lacking traction out of corners, Melandri's luck remained much the same today with his crash being seemingly inexplicable.Marco was unable to get back up to pace following the 'off' and as a result posted a fastest lap of 2'02.65, one second slower than the time which yesterday made him quickest.
