Having pulled out (http://www.motoreview.net/news/septest206/stoner1/) of the Sepang test just over a week ago with a shoulder injury, Casey Stoner has now undergone surgery. The LCR Honda rider has had a bit of a lucky escape, as he will be fit just in time for the first race of the season in Jerez next month.
Although Casey will miss the IRTA tests which precede the start of the season, the Australian was pleased with the outcome, saying "This is brilliant, very positive news and without any complications I'm planning to be at Jerez to ride with the LCR Honda team in the first GP."
