Colin Edwards beat his Camel Yamaha teammate Valentino Rossi to take the keys of a new BMW Z4 at the official Barcelona IRTA test today. The 40 minute session took place on a soaked Circuit de Catalunya and saw many riders, including Rossi, sliding their way into the gravel traps.
Dunlop-shod Tech3 Yamaha rider James Ellison put in an impressive performance and was fastest for the first half of the session, going quicker than his teammate Carlos Checa for the first time.
