John Hopkins spent his final day of pre-season testing trying out a completely new chassis on his GSV-R. The Anglo-American was 13th fastest overall, using race tyres, with a 1'41.305 - around one and a half seconds faster than his fastest race lap last year.
Chris Vermeulen continued along his MotoGP learning curve and finished the day ninth fastest with a 1'40.75, using a Bridgestone qualifying tyre.
