Ducati have regularly featured in the top three throughout all of the pre-season tests, and Jerez was no different. Using qualifying tyres Loris Capirossi went fastest with a 1'39.411 and Sete Gibernau was second with a 1'39.663. On race tyres Capirossi would have still been around the top of the timesheets but Gibernau's best time with a race tyre would probably have seen him a fair bit lower.
On the whole though it seems to have been a successful few months for the Ducati team as they prepared for the 2006 season.
