Well at least so far it's just by a hundredth of a second! If Pedrosa can keep performing like he is it looks as though he'll be the Spaniard of choice in Jerez on Sunday. Giber-who?

Miloped 25-03-2006, 12:25 AM I've gotta say that Pedrosa looks like he's definitely going to be a contender. It will be interesting to see him nearing the end of the race. He'll have a win in his first season I'm sure of it. Anyways... I'm just pulling for the boys from Bologna... Gibernau definitely has to want to win this race because of what happened last year, And Capirex looks strong so far. It IS still only friday, at least it is here in Canada. .. Dom 25-03-2006, 09:23 AM It IS still only friday, at least it is here in Canada. .. :shifty: Fair point. I just continue to be more and more impressed by Pedrosa as each session goes by. I think for Gibernau, Sunday is not just about wanting to make up for Jerez last year but wanting prove that whatever his problems were last year they are now a thing of the past. If he can get a solid result come race day then it would do him a lot of good mentally for the season ahead. There's no doubting Gibernau is quick and hugely determined, but I think if anything he'll come unstuck from pushing too hard. Of the two Ducati riders I think my money would be on Capirossi for the season as a whole, but we'll just have to see what happens. Is it wrong that I'm kind of hoping Vale will bin it when trying to put in a quick lap today and start from 10th+ on the grid? wheelspin 25-03-2006, 10:31 AM I don't think these times mean that much when you consider that the track was cold/damp and the times were a couple of seconds off the last test. I think were going to see low .39's maybe a couple of high .38's today on qualifiers.
