Dani Pedrosa got his MotoGP career off to a great start by coming second in his first ever race in the big class. The ice-cool 2005 250cc champion at one point looked as though he could take the race win in front of his home crowd, but 'gave up' and settled for second ahead of his teammate Nicky Hayden.
It's clear that Dani is hugely talented and will undoubtedly go on to be a champion, but the question now is - just how soon?
