... to watch. Not your favourite rider full stop, purely the rider who most impresses when you watch a race.
One of mine would have to be Tamada, for his near elbow-down style of riding:

Bayliss on the Ducati last year was another decent source of 'how the hell does he do that?' moments, backing it in to corners so much he looked like he was riding a dirt bike not a 250bhp GP bike.

Baylss has a great style, really loose and very aggressive - just a pity it didn't work for him on the Honda. It'll be great to see him mix it in World Superbike again next year.
Yeah, this season was a disaster on all counts for Bayliss which is a real shame. It will definitely be interesting to see how he and Barros perform next year in World Superbikes.
Oh and I really should've mentioned Nicky Hayden in my first post, how his tyres ever last a race I've no idea.

Is Alex confirmed yet? Bayliss sould definetly go very well, he was fast as hell at Qatar, the question still remains for me though - can a v-twin still be competitive??
If Barros does jump on a Fireblade next year I think he'll either sink or swim. If he has a few bad results or doesn't find it as easy as he might think (there is definetly not the depth of riding talent that there is in GP but there are some quick guys who he'll have to beat) it might damage his season??? I hope not because I quite like the guy, I've still got Valencia 2002 on tape :D
Sounds like Barros is definitely going to superbikes but hasn't confirmed who he'll be riding for yet (link (http://www.motoreview.net/article.php?a=636)). I have to admit I'm not that clued up on superbikes but given that Toseland took the championship on a Ducati just 1 year ago, development could easily swing their way again for 2006. There's probably more to it than that though, I'm just making assumptions.
I think there's probably quite a different riding style between GP and superbikes so whether Barros goes quick could just be dependent on how quickly he gets to grips with it. Realistically he's not a young guy any more so you'd think next year will be one of/his last season, although I guess Frankie Chili's proof age isn't a barrier to great results.
bayliss says his bike has about 7bhp more than his 2002 machine. he says and it showed that they do lack a little bit in the power department.
toseland didnt do great really in 2004-everyone was so inconsistent, and he just managed it because his rivals had a few odd problems....haga and a blowig up bike and vermulen and his oil imola crash.
i think barros will do quite well-in the second part of the season i expect him to do quite well.
come on stalker!!
