The MotoGP teams remained at the Jerez circuit on Monday for a brief test session. It concluded with Repsol Honda rider Nicky Hayden going fastest, but perhaps more interesting was the fact that Yamaha ended the day saying that they had 'found some solutions' to their recent problems with the M1.

The Camel Yamaha team director Davide Brivio said that yesterday was 'a very useful and interesting day for us and we were able to collect a lot of important information which we believe will help'.The team also sent Valentino Rossi out on the 2005 machine to compare performance between that and this year's M1. In Brivio's words 'a few things about the ’05 bike are better at the moment, but overall it seems the ’06 bike is still a more improved package and Valentino’s fastest times ...Read the full article.
