Yep...
So I'm on my 3rd day with it, I've got my expert license.
I pretty much only play arcade mode so far.
This morning I was punting the DRZ400 motard around Seattle, it was a hoot, handled and sounded excellent.
Then I played some other stuff, came back to the DRZ, and it sounded like a 4-cyl bike! Restarted, still does it. Turned it off, waited 15 minutes, started it up and it's still bloody well doing it!
It's so distracting I can't even figure out if it's still handling the right way, but it looks ok in the replays (though it still sounds like a 4-cyl).

Weird, and a real bummer 'cause I was getting into that bike. If it spreads to other bikes I'm taking it back.

Anyone else having this problem?

I've only had a very brief go so far so can't really comment on bugs other than I haven't seen any.

All I could think might help would be trying a few other bikes and going back to it or adjusting the DRZ's setup a little. :?

Yep I tried everything I could think of. SO far it only affects the DRZ, so it's not a huge deal, but if it spread to other machines it would render it unplayable.

I'll be interested to hear if this happens to anyone else. It's a shame 'cause I was really enjoying throwing that bike around the tight stuff (Autumn Mini and Beginners especially). But I got the Kwaka motard so I'll just use that instead.

That's sounds like a really weird bug. Did you change to a sports muffler? Wait... does the DR even come with a sports muffler? :? :eh:

Found a bug while trying to break 200 MPH on the CBR1000RR RM at Motegi Super Speedway. I kept drifting up to the wall and backing off. The fastest speed I could hold through the turns was about 133 MPH.

After a while I just let it hit the wall softly, trying to get more exit speed. Then it happened. I was able to use the wall as a berm if I kept the bike leaned over enough and stayed on the gas all the way through the corners, bouncing off the wall but not crashing the whole way around.

Using this technique, the corner speeds exceeded 160 MPH (most unrealistic). Has to be a bug. :eh:

BTW, never did break 200MPH (199 MPH WFO)

I noticed that one too. Similar to a very popular way for people to get crazy times in GT1/2/3 by bouncing off walls. A real pain in the arse to drive against if someone's doing it!

Update on the sound bug with the DRZ400....
I earned the bike for my garage, and when riding it now in TT mode it sounds fine. But in arcade mode it still sounds like a 4 cylinder bike.
Anyone else notice this?

Did you try changing gearing/sprocket tooth number?

I found the wall riding cheat out the other day. It's not the end of the world, as you are only cheating yourself if you use it.

Agreed, only cheating yourself. I've noticed the game really rewards smooth riding, much like the real thing.

This sounds strange, but the bug just disappeared. I went and checked it and it sounds fine. I didn't alter anything so I have no idea what's going on. But I'm glad, it was really disconcerting having it sound like a GSXR400!
