Fantastic vids. :D I've only watched the TZR and 200mph ones so far, but they have to be the nicest bits of TT footage I've seen.

What setup did you use to record them, if you don't mind my asking?

I have the video output of all the game consoles split to go to the TV/sound system, and a second feed to a Sony DCR TRV-350 camcorder.

This is turn is hooked to the PC via Firewire - so I can do direct video capture of anything. (Videography is a side hobby, so I have all the rig for taping/capturing/editing and producing videos of game replays, social events - and even on-board breakfast runs in the car.. ;))

I will be making more as I find interersting races. One I have setup and am enjoying is running the NSR250SP against the 600cc's. :)

It's great to watch the 600's hutrle past on the straights and then you just buzz by them with super high corner speed... ;) -- makes for fun close racing.

I really enjoyed the 250 two-strokes.

Nice. :) I don't know if GT4 is the same as TT with this, but it seems to me like the the 'best shot' photos tend to come out very dark. Even when you're in the full photo mode anything other than a high exposure seems to end up looking like it was taken at 2am. No big complaint but it's a bit odd - you'd have thought they'd try and find a better balance for it. :erm:

Those Busa pics look awesome. Do you finish off your images in PhotoShop, or is that the TT out put?

And about the NR - yes, it's a bugger, you have to get all Golds... :( And it is hard - Getting to within say .300s of the target time is tough but doable with lot's of repition... It's finding that last .200 or .300 of a second that is really tough.

You basically have to persevere until you run a perfect, scorching, ideal line - but boy, the elation when finally you get the Gold music and everything... makes you feel like Rossi for a split second.. ;) hehe

For me the toughest one was the TZ250 runnign through the Suzuka chicane. Sheer torture --- but unlocking the NR was worth it.

Especially because the version in game is 128bhp, not the 79bhp real bike (as it was pretty detuned in street form).

Comparing handling to other in-game bikes (then comparing that toe real world memory and feel) it is pretty close to the RC45 in it's response - quick turn in, but not as nimble as say a modern 600. But once you get it cranked over it's rock solid and will go anywhere you point it... mind you it is just a game though ;) hehe

Yeah, I did resort to a little Photoshopping on that batch of pics, I have to admit. Most of those are dead simple changes though - generally they're just a duplicated copy of the main picture with the blending mode set to 'overlay' or 'linear dodge' as that stops them from being so damn dark. The second busa pic I got a little flashy and put a light to dark gradient fading out from the centre. ;)

I think it's possible to get some quite good looking pics in the proper photo mode where you can change the exposure and camera angles etc. The 'best shot' mode doesn't seem to come too close.

I can't see myself getting anywhere near all golds on expert for the NR for quite a while but seeing your pics of it does make me a tempted to try...

Dang, now I gotta go back and get gold. I wonder what you get if you nail the super license? Or all the licenses??

Got the CBR1000 RR RM last night after just bronzing the super license and doing the bike challenge thing. Took more than a few attempts (lots), but it was well worth the effort. That thing rips! :twisted:

Hehe, I got the race modified Speed Triple last night which looks to be either one of or the bike with the most torque available. Looking forward to having a proper go on that later. ;)
