I almost forgot. My votes:

Champs

* Dani: I just hope he doesn't go on to win so many championships it's boring. ;)
* Edwards: One of his best GP rides yet.
* Hopkins and Suzuki: Great riding and you just know the Suzuki guys have been doing overtime.
* Tamada! I really hope the bloke's got his head on straight again, a good ride for 6th.

Chumps

* Rossi. Until now he has been massively talented and at times quite lucky, recently it seems as though his luck's gone AWOL.

nah, i think rossi was acting a little immature...the way i saw it, he came in thinking he had a rear tire problem, had a new tire put on...then came in thinking it was a front tyre problem, and said, "well, i cant win now, i might just as well sit it out". what the hell happened to finishing the race despite the problems. everytime my friends and i go to the track, we always have problems. like the last time i had to bleed my friends brakes in the front...had some air left in the lines. but did we just say..."screw it"... no, we got the job done, and continued. i really think he should have at least gone out and finished the race.

on the other hand, pedrosa was a little too business like. dude wins his forst motogp race, and all he can muster is, "it was a good race". dude!!!you won a race in what is the pinnacle of motorcycle racing! at least show a little emotion. that dude barely cracked a smile. then hayden was putting the pressure on him with about 5 laps to go, and pedrosa just stepped it up a notch. hayden turns fast lap...two laps later, pedrosa turns fast lap. thats when you know its just business. i want to see some real racing!!!

Hehe that's Pedrosa for you. By all accounts he's a lot more laid back away from the track, but come race day the guy really is all business. Sometimes I do wonder if he's the (successful) product of some kind of Honda corporate experiment.

yeah, i havent seen him off track, just what he brings to the table on sunday. from what i understand, he has been with honda for a while now, not necessarily on their factory team, but hes always rode a honda. i may be wrong on this, as my memory is kinda failing me.

No you're dead right. Dani's been a Honda man from day one, something some people think will do him real good with Honda as they're the kind of company who will appreciate his loyalty.

i just find it funny that hayden grew up on american tracks, has his only win at an american track, but struggles everywhere else. hes rode 600s, litre bikes, factory bikes, and now, obviously, gp, but my point is this...he's always ridden heavy bikes (compared to 125 gp...etc). i would think he would get used to the way you ride a big, powerful bike like a gp bike quicker than those moving up in the ranks where corner speed rules all. but dani seems to feel right at home on the 990cc 4 strokes. its like he has learned the different riding styles really REALLY, quickly, know what i mean.

but, with that said, many people are saying the the 250s are becoming more like the motogp bikes, in regards to the way you have to ride them to get a quick lap time.
