I don't know what was wrong with me. I could not hold a line if the tires were glued to it. I wrecked twice and ended up crossing the line--on the second lap--at 8'15'4xx! I was so frustrated I had to stop playing.
Both times I crashed were due to unexplainable rogue stoppies while braking through the corner entry on a couple of left-handers. I was definitely not pressing forward on the control stick, so I have no idea what was going on. I'll get home tonight and do some 7'30-ish laps to get my hopes back up. I was suckin' bad!

i have/had those random stopies. usually what usually happens to me in fast corners, ill enter too fast and get on the front brakes then the rear end lifts lending to ... a crash. the game doesnt like it when you put sudden, sharp inputs into the brakes and turning at the same time. just roll off the throttle slightly sooner and use smoother inputs. ive not lifted the rear wheel since then unless ive rushed the entry into a corner.

I wish I could get my replay/flash drive thing to work right. I had a wicked save on that same lap. Sharp right hander over a little hill, got air, touchdown..bike was going nuts, it almost went down and I just threw it into the next corner and it made it through somehow. It was pretty sweet.

ive got a replay of a zx10 rm on the high speed ring, in arcade mode, where on the last corner, you can see the dude leaning to the right, the pegs scraping, in the process of lowsiding, trying to pick it back up, and unbelievably i manage to save it a turn a decent lap time, i think it was a
1.10.xx or so. when i get my shit together, i will post it up...

callaghan - do a search before you buy your usb flash drive. not all will work, but, any that work with gt4 will also work with TT.
i know theres a big list of do work/do not work at the gtx gt4 sub-forum. (www.granturismox.net) but, youll probably have to run a search to find that thread.

ditto that, that is the exact reason i stopped riding this track for a while. i couldnt find a good compromise between good handling, and stability over the jumps/bumps. none of the other tracks are this bad, but the nurburgring is as bad as they get.
