View Full Version : Favourite circuit?

I don't think I've played TT enough to say yet, but my current favourite has to be the Nurburgring. I suppose mainly because I love fact it 'feels' so much closer to real riding than anywhere else (to me, anyway). I'm sure that many of the modern circuits are as smooth and refined as they seem in the game, but you just can't beat a good set of twisties.

Anyone else got any particular favourites?

I'd have to agree with ya, but its more of a love/hate relationship for me at NurBurgerKing :D

i think my favorite circuit is suzuka, although the straight leading up to spoon curve needs to be just that, a straight, not with the kink in it. (gt4 guys know what i am talking about.)

actual tracks on the game, i like amalfi, citi aria (or whatever its called...)
and for some of the smaller bikes, i like the autumn ring, not the mini.

i like motegi for the mid powered bikes.

but my absolute favorite has to be grand valley east. (grand valley full for the litre bikes.)

Grand Valley was once my favorite track but somewhere along the way I fell in love with Trial Mountain. I would have to toss a coin between those two.

yeah, i like that track too...trial mountain felt better to me with gt4 than TT, though. i dont like the last chicane where the bikes like to ground out and lowside...but i love the first section thats real fast, taking the wide line to set up for the tunnel.

Mine would be Nurburgring... it's quite obvious actually.

yes, by now we can tell...i like that track too, but it just seems way too bumpy. i cant think of any roads, let alone tracks, that are that bumpy, and i used to live in new york city. also, the set up on the bike will have a lot of effect. i think in general, the spring rate needs to be fairly hard, with only a little compression damping, lots of rebound damping, and preload to suit your riding style. i've had good results with this on most the bikes.

edited for poor grammar...

callaghan - ive found deep forest and trial mountain to be worse than nordschliefe. nordschliefe is only bad on the really fast, twisty bits and the karaosols.

thanks for the set up tips btw :)

my fav is Suzuka full, although I don't like that little esse that they added after the hairpin. yes nordschliefe is a love/hate track, I love it when I get it right I hate the damn bumps.

I like Laguna Seca. Good 'ol point and shoot track, especially on the bigger bikes, you have to put premium on getting the bike on the fat part of the tire, and driving it out. Hard.

Suzuka. Or Deep Forest. Or maybe Trial Mountain.

Midfield Raceway is brilliant on a litre bike, especially when you nail turn 1 & 2 (the correct line there is tricky). I also love Suzuka, the 'Ring, Apricot Hill and Grand Valley. They're all tricky and fast circuits, real riders' circuits.

when you are good all tracks are great !

Love all ( maybe top 5 would be Valencia, Infineon, Nürburgring , Mid-Field and Grand Valley full course )

from what i've seen so far the Nurburgring is the most impressive track in the game.
I have already been driving on it in reality for like 5 times, but just with some different cars, which has been astonishing.
The feeling of speed in TT just makes the nurburgring incredible !
