View Full Version : Rossi makes a telling statement, or just taking a different approach?

After yet another disastrous race Rossi had the following to say:

“Now we need to look at it race by race, maybe not think about the championship for a while and concentrate on trying to win as many races as possible from the remaining 12.”

I'd be pretty confident that Vale just means he needs to ride like a nutter for wins rather than play it a bit safer and rack up the podiums, but nonetheless who would've expected to hear the words 'maybe not think about the championship for a while' come out of his mouth?

yeah, i think its a funny that rossi has had no good luck this year. its looked as if he was going to take the win, then his bike just crapped out on him...

It does seem as though all of the bad luck that he never had previously has suddenly found out where he lives.

What's interesting is Mugello in a couple of weeks is apparently the cut-off point for the F1 decision. Valentino is only going to leave MotoGP as a champion, imo.

While I feel sorry for Vale, it's made the championship good again!
Especially with the rise of Pedrosa/Stoner and the on-form Hayden.
Also it's excellent to see the Suzook running near the front.

Vale has snubbed the F1 deal. He's extended his contract with yamaha for another 2 years.
