Sorry about the name of the post, couldnt think of anything better.

Ok, the reason for this post is this: I see alot of people on this forum and a few others are having a problem with the track. Some say they cant stay on the road, and some say they cant go fast in the twisties but do fine in the straight, and visa versa. Others, for some reason just cant get passed their best time. So I decided since I have the best time and best understanding of the track, I felt the need out of curdiousy to help everyone out. I myself dont know really how I did a 6'52 lap, but I did.

So, I ask you all this before I answer a question: What is it you individually have a problem with on the track? I will answer questions via here, or a PM.

Note: I know some of you will be asking me for bike and rider setups, I would encourage you not to, since we all play the game differently. But I will be glad to help you with finding your own setup.

Off-topic announcement: Last night I was going to attempt to beat my current record with the same bike. But I decided to try a different bike, the GSX-R1000 RM. So, I did a ghost run with the 6'52 lap, and I regret to say I wasnt able to beat it.... yet. I had crashed at the bend of the back-stretch, I hit 190 mph around it and my back tire slid out from under me. If I had not of crashed, I would of done at least a mid-high 6'51 lap time. Or, better yet, going past the 6'50 mark is a very real possibility now, because I also tried the R1000 Suzuka bike and got awfully close, but crashed yet again. It's actually not a common thing for me to crash at this track, these two incidents were just unfortunate. Thought I would let you all know.

the left at the end of the back stretch is my worst enemy. ive to slow down to about 170mph to make it through. if i dont, the rear end spins up and i crash or understeer/wobble off track at the exit :(

Ok, now the backstretch is quite wide, so you can use the technique of staying on the outside and diving in the corner (in this case, staying on right, then dive in the left). While its the most common use of cornering, it's not ideal for this track. 170 mph is actually not to bad, but I'm able to go around that corner at 180-190 mph with ease.

It's actually not the corner itself that upsets your bike. On the backstretch right before you go uphill is a discolored patch of concrete. That's what makes your bike jump around. To reduce this, stay the left almost all the way down the stretch, instead of the right. About half way up the hill, sway to the right a little bit near the middle of the stretch. When get near the top, let off the gas until you hit 180 mph. Then keep on the gas. Also, when going around that corner, dont tuck your rider, as the weight of the bike is shifted easily when tucked in going around those corners. I hope this helps.

its interesting that you say not to be tucked when half the time, id untuck and thats when the rear end would break lose. but, thats probably because of the sudden weight shift off the rear was causing it to lose traction.

have you tryed the tz250rm? it weighs next to nothing (100kg?) and has 90hp so itll at least hit 160mph if 32hp can manage 132mph.

Hmm... I could have said it wrong. You may be right, of course. Now your still talking about the left bend at the end of straight right? I think if you untuck right before you start to lean the bike left, you shouldnt have a problem. If you do it in the middle of the corner, I suppose your situation would occur. It could be the rider style that affects it. My lateral slide is only at 14, I see most people use more than that. Maybe thats whats causing it. :erm:

actually, with rider form i was thinking the forward/backward setting position as im running -3.0 with one form. having all the weight on the front helps with handling and since i use the right thumbstick for throttle i can usually compensate for lack of weight on the rear to an extend. but, if the bikes understeering for the outside of the track it doesnt matter how much traction teh rear wheel has :P

I agree 8O

Would you like my rider settings? I'll PM them to ya.
