Hi, are you able to organise a second tier championship using standard mode instead of pro? there are a lot of people out there who just cant use pro mode but want to join in a championship.
hope you can come up with something
Mind if I ask what the problem with 'pro' mode would be? In all honesty it's not much harder - the main difference is just that the brakes aren't linked, and you can always just press both buttons to equal that effect.

purhapes we can run a spec buel rm series as a support class for the sbks? open it up to any controller mode then run the race in practice mode in tt?
it only took me a half hour-hour to adjust to pro mode (held downshift instead of tuck. heh.) but, tbh, ive played every gt released in NA and play tt just like gt4 with the execption that i cant get a bike to tighten its line on the throttle and bikes like late apexes.

yeah, i think pro mode definetely offer some advatages, once you get used to it. to be honest, i was a little dissapointed with the game at first, but that was because i didnt know how to turn pro mode on. once i did, i really enoyed the game. like nes said, in general, you can late-apex a lot of corners, adn still turn a fast time. infact, i found this tu be true in real life, where you have to actuallly ride a 1000 and a 600 completely different. the 1000 requires you to dive in deep into the corner, square it off, and fire it out, while the 600's you need to keep your coenerspeed up. and that is the biggest thing that bugs me about this game. getting on the throttle make the bike run wide in the game. on the road, usually, getting on the throttle tightens your line.

i guess i got so use to the standard mode i preferr that, plus for some reason(maybe my job occupation) my finger and hand is cramped when over the r2 button for even a short period . So i guess my hand is a bit retarded:)
And in reality pro mode is still nothing like riding a real bike,so why not make it fun for everyone.

pro mode is the standart due to other standard and semi pro having more grip over. just give it a hour or so to get used to pro mode and you can never go back ;)

Sorry to hear that it's a pain for you, the problem is I don't think there would really be enough interest in another championship atm. Equally I don't really have enough spare time to get one started.
Have you tried maybe setting up the controller so that the buttons are less awkward to use?
(Btw anyone is welcome to start one-off challenges or even their own championships with whatever rules they like, whenever they like. In fact I'd encourage anyone to. :))

there you go, spready, start a challenge of your own, and specify if you want semi-pro mode, or what not.
