Hi guys i'm from Spain and i love the bikes

Just i have two questions
-I would like to enter to any championship here (replays) I am in time of taking part of some race?
-I'm having problems to see replays.. i can see european (PAL) repalys (dat file) but no USA replays i think is for fault of NTSC-US and PAL versions... maybe for NTSC-US i need another folder with a specific name in my Flash memory.

I hope that someone can help me

a - i wouldnt mind if you joined us from round 4 and onwards. im about to post the round 4 thread.

b - regarding the repays, you can only watch pal replays on your pal system. ntsc-na can only watch ntsc-na replay, etc.

yeah, i noticed that there was a daytona 650 replay up there, but it was the european game mode, and i could not view it. TT said the file was invalid.

i wonder if there is a way to set up your playstation to view the other type of games...i know i have a dvd-r that can be configured to view PAL or NTSC versions of the same video, as well as a reciever that can decode different audio suorces like that.

Welcome to the boards roca. :) Definitely join in in the championship, the more the merrier.

@callaghan: You can setup a PS2 so that it will play NTSC/PAL games, but as the problem here is that the games and replay files themselves are slightly different between regions, I would be 99.999% sure that the only way of watching both types of replays would be if you had both NTSC and PAL versions.s

hi, all :) i'm a new face too, so i thought i'd say hello. i'm from the UK, have completed TT with all gold licences.

i hope to enter some championships soon, but to begin with i need some help.

it's concerning replays. it appears that i can save the replays to my usb device (as in i can see it's on there), but
when i try to transfer it to my ps2 i get the 'error, no appropriate file present' message.

i've uploaded a replay of mine, so if anyone would try it to see if they can transfer it to their ps2, i'd be grateful.

so, anyone have any idea why i can't transfer replays? i tried roca46's seeing as they were euro too.

And yes I have seen your reply so all is OK so exporting your replays works correctly . The problem is importing replays from your USB? you only can see replays of PAL versions.

Anyhow i'm a beginner too so i hope that someone can help you

PS: Nice lap on trial mountain!! You play with standard mode? Try to use Pro mode everyone in the championship use this mode it feels better the bike.. the brakes.. etc.. I think is in controller options

hi, roca :) tnx for watching my replay, i'm glad that my ps2>usb>pc is working ok

now all i need is to find out why i can't get a replay to my ps2

i know that i can only see pal replays, so i tried to see yours

seeing as we're both pal roca, could you please post an exact step by step guide
of how you got my replay from this site to your ps2?

that way i can duplicate the process and hopefully i'll be able to see yours

yes, when i enter the championship i'll use pro mode

One thing that's worth checking is that you have the replay at E:\PDI\REPLAY.DAT where E is your memory stick drive. I think if it's in another folder or the file isn't called REPLAY.DAT then the game gets a bit confused. If you're already doing that then I'm fast running out of ideas. :doh:

deep forest times are due by this sunday then round 6 will start either that sunday or monday :)

and, sure, the more the merrier. just remember to use pro mode :)
