i think hayden is a great rider. he has the skill, talent, patience, and a team to put everything together. i just wish he would go out there and make it happen. i think if he can stay in it for another year or two, he will be at the top. his track knowledge i believe is holding him back. if you look at his record, he has steadily improved his placings. his only win was at laguna seca, his home track. he had a huge advantage over most everyone else (besides colin edwards, who finished second if i recall), because he had the track knowledge. most of these guys in motogp have moved up through the ranks, and have done these tracks on smaller bikes. i cant wait to see what the 800cc bikes bring to the table...

Thats the first live one I've seen in a while. Just before turn 1 the two Ducatis came together forcing Gibernau to jam in his front brake, he flipped the bike and skittled Capirossi, Melandri, DePuniet, Hopkins and Pedrosa. It looked like a couple of the bikes collected Melandri as he was sliding along the track. Melandri suffered some sort of dislocation, Capirossi internal bleeding, Gibernau light concussion and Hopkins a twisted back and possible broken ankle. Big ups to John Hopkins for getting a fourth place from the restart, he deserves to take the championship one day.

Giberau's bike literally hit a front flip sending giberau into the air and straight over the bars in a heart beat. This took out melandri who then slide into the back of pedrosa causing him to hit hopkins and drap meladri down the road with them

Sorry for the lack of site/forum updates this weekend, I was a bit caught up with doing the London to Brighton pushbike ride (link (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/5091866.stm)).

I just caught the race highlights - what a mad start. Hopefully Capirossi, Gibernau and Melandri will heal up okay ASAP. :? Apparently after all that bad luck at the start, Gibernau's ambulance managed to crash on the way to the hospital!

Nonetheless, another convincing win from Rossi and a great performance by KRJR for third place. Hopefully the first of many podiums!

I'll get the site updated today/tomorrow with as much info and as many pics as possible, although it'll probably end up being a bit on the brief side compared to normal.
