View Full Version : americans stepping to the front acesonthebottom 20-06-2006, 08:18 PM well it looks as the americans are starting to make their move to the front of mototgpwhat is ur thoughts about them moving into a mainly european sport Samster 21-06-2006, 08:07 AM I wouldn't consider it a mainly European sport - remember Eddie Lawson, Wayne Rainey, Kevin Schwantz, Randy Mamola, Kenny Roberts Snr to name but a few? callaghan 21-06-2006, 07:10 PM i think what he means is that for the past decade, not many americans have stood atop the podium, its been mostly europeans. (note: i dont have any facts on hand to back this up, just going by memory). now we have hopkins, krjr., edwards and hayden. i think im forgetting someone, but my aforementioned memory is failing me. i think its great, but i dont want it to be a usa afair, where its 3 americans fighting for the top spot all the time. i like the different riding styles that the americans seem to have. |
