Long time Lurker first time poster here guys....

Pedrosa was dominant, Vermuelen was a surprise, as was Marco and Loris considering he sat out FP1...... being an Aussie i was disappointed with Casey as he was top 3 for most of the FP sessions.

Bring on the race!

Welcome to the boards. :)

Great to see two Sukukis in the top four, although you have to assume they still don't quite have the race pace to match.

Before qualifying my money was on Casey and Dani. Pedrosa's got the job done in qualifying but I still think Casey's looking strong.

And another crappy qualifying result for Rossi! He'll be the underdog soon at this rate.

Thanks for the welcome Dom.

I would hope that Casey had the bike setup for race pace and was just struggling a little on quali tyres.

I'm a huge Rossi fan, have been for years, but i feel this may be the greatest challenge of his career, and if he can win the title from here with the wrist problems he has..... well it will just confirm his standing in my eyes as the G.O.A.T.

Agreed also about Chris Vermuelen and John Hopkins, but in saying that i'd love to see a top 5 finish for Chris in particular at some stage this season.

In the washup, as long as Hayden or Pedrosa don't win..... i'm happy.;)

I reckon you're right about this being Rossi's biggest challenge. He really will have to have a great second half of the season if he's to take another championship win, and there's plenty of competition there to get in his way.

And you're not a Honda fan, I take it? :P

I have a soft spot for Yamaha and Kawasaki (an admirer of Nakano's perserverance and tenacity)........ but being an Aussie i support them also (whatever bike they are on), particularly Casey, his progress this year has impressed me as i thought he'd struggle in the early parts of the season.
