I got woke up at 4:45am this am by two police officers standing next to my open garage and specifically the spot where my bike should have been :cry:

but;

they'd found it by 6am - in one piece and even gave me a lift over to pick it up. :D

good work boys - all while i was asleep in my bed :roll:

the police had lifted the little runts for something else - while they were searching their house - they found it in the back yard.:dance:

in A1 condition. RESULT. i've had a very lucky escape tho.

i can't even begin to tell you how lucky - ie my insurance would have been void because i leave the keys in it (mainly cos i don't want anyone walking around my house looking for the keys while my wife and kids are in bed)

i NORMALLY have the garage door locked from inside at all four corners but last night - didn't i just lock it from outside :roll:

i could fart the garage door off in that state so i guess i was asking for trouble.

Jeez, now that really is lucky. I figured you'd at least be needing new locks etc if they'd somehow hotwired it, but I guess in a weird way it's a good thing the keys were in there (although had they not been it might've been enough to put 'em off of course ;)).

What's the bike?

the bike is a TT600 and i've had from new so the thought of some t**t raking it's t**s off from cold when i've spent years looking after it really boils my p**s

i have lost a set of keys which is going to make life difficult for me - all of my padlocks, disc locks and even my bike will be easy pickings until they are recovered or until i can buy some new locks/lock barrell.

i hope the little scrotum gets a right shoe-ing in the cells. I know where he lives because the Police took me there to get the bike so if it goes missing again - that will be my first port of call - with as many of my mates as i can muster.
