You'll need a flash drive. Any brand will do. Use the Replay Theater to transfer the replay to the drive. The rest is self-explanatory.

i know it can be done, im just not sure how. then again, hazatbufc may have just meant he wanted the data transferred to his pc so he could up load it to the site.

you can save a replay and store it on your computer, but, without a video capture card in your pc/laptop, then you cannot view a replay on your computer/laptop.

So many of you couldn't possibly be so grammatically challenged. Seriously.

Hi Lads New Here Just Come Over From GT Planet,
Having Trouble With USB Stick Have Read Other Threads

Am I Right Understanding PS2 Will Only Recognise 1 Replay At A Time
And That The Replay Must Be In the PDI File Under The Name Of REPLAY

Tried This And Get The Following Error "The File On The USB Flash Memory Is Invalid"

I Click On The Link On Forum To Download, These Go Into A Download File I Have set Up, I Then Drag File To PDI Folder On USB Stick And Rename File "REPLAY" Notice Upper Case As This Is What PS2 Generates When Dowloading Replay From PS2 To USB

Plug USB Into PS2 And Get The Above Error On All Replays Tried

USB Is a Disgo lite 128mb

Any Help Would Be Appreciated

well, first you need to know what type of console you have. im guessing europe. you can only view other replays from the same type of game you have. also, the file name has to be "REPLAY.DAT" it has to have the .DAT extension on it to work. try that, i have been told that some usb sticks will not work correctly.

You Guessed Right Europe, I Was Not Aware Of This
The Format I Get On Saves Is ........ REPLAY
And Under this Greyed Out ..... DAT File
And then Greyed Out ....... 46k
With The Usual Icon To the Left

This Is Downloading From PS2 And Net

As Read In Other Posts I Do Not Get "REPLAY.DAT" Just Wondering If "REPLAY.DAT" Is Generic To NTSC area And "REPLAY" Is Generic To PAL Area ... OR This May Be Why My USB may Not Be Compatible With TT.

Also Tried Manually Changing The File Name And Still No Joy

Negative. Whether you're able to see the three letter extension on the end of filenames in Windows is strictly due to your operating system's configuration. Either way, it's REPLAY.DAT and that name is universal.

It's quite simple really. If you're in Europe, use a PAL-based replay. The replay base indicates this. If you use anything but, you'll notice all sorts of untold things -- up to and including nothing. Chalk it up to simple incompatibility.

Cheers For That Now To Hunt Down Some PAL Replays
But As NTSC Outguns Us By 8 - 1 Not Alot To Choose from Something For Poly Digital To Sort Out Next Time

Problem Sorted In The End Found Out It Was My Download Manager Playing Up Removed the Programme Now Everythings OK, Relief as I Thought I'd Brought An Incompatable USB

Cheers All

According to a quick search there are 12 PAL replays up on the site (http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/search.php). Just select 'Game Type: PAL' and it'll show them all up.

Welcome to the boards btw. :) Stoner fan?

Cheers Dom, I Never Thought Of That - "Doh"

I Allways Forget About The Easy Ways

All We Need Now Is More Pal Players I Recon Were Out Numbered 10 - 1

Why Can't Sony Ever make Things Easy Is Beyond Me

Yeah there are definitely far more people around with NTSC than PAL copies floating around. Maybe in the next few weeks as more people in the UK and the rest of Europe get copies it'll even out a bit.
