Happy for Chris definatley...... lets see if Suzuki and Bridgestone can give him the package to be competitive come race time.

Hopefully i'm proven wrong, but on past results, i think we unfortunately will see Chris finish at the wrong end of the top 10 :(

Past results for Vermeulen at Laguna aren't half good though. Apparently he got the double in 2004. Course that's WSB, but he's definitely fast there and it seems as though Suzuki are one of the few bridgestone teams to have put in some good times over a longer period of time so far this weekend. Roll on the race. :)

I think Vermeulen will have a good race but don't think he will win it, I think it's more likely to be one of the American Riders - Hayden, Roberts or Edwards as it's a technical track and familiararity breeds confidence.

I am also interested to see where Rossi will charge to but who knows with Rossi he always seems to do the impossible.

I also hate this track on TT as i can't seem to nail the breaking or turn in points which is strange as it's one of my Favorite tracks in GT.

update: there appears to be track problems, as in the newly resurfaced black top is peeling up at certain points, like at the exit of the corkscrew, among others. they tried to fix it, but now the patchs are becoming very pitted, to where a lot of the riders are saying thet its causing the front to tuck real quick, and the rear chatters on exits. so far, they are still going run in about a half hour.
