the rules are basically the same as the superbike series with a couple of execptions. player points will be the same as superbike, but, teams will be included this time around so team points will be awarded as well. you do not have to be in a team to compete, but, you will only have half the potential points available to you per-round. team points will be motogp style as well.

replays will be required from the top three and times will be due the first sunday after a race starts by midnight central standart time.

im not sure about qualfing though, purhapes 3 points for pole, 2 for second and 1 second. qualifing will take place in practice in tt mode.

im open to suggestions. i was thinking about having a ssr5 round as well, but couldnt fit it in so, oh well :)

The Nurburgring round should be all 5 600 RM bikes (Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Triumph, Suzuki). Whats your opinion?

Or... we could do all 5 bikes, but use two different classes. Yamaha vs. Honda vs. Suzuki as the first class.

Then the second class is the Triumph vs. Ninja (and with Calla's idea) vs. XB12R. Neither class is better than the other, its just a different competition. And then for giggles, have the winner from both classes race/run another... I dont know really, up to you of course.

i really dont want to do all 5 tbh, though, the over bored 600s would fine if ... trumph rm vs kwack rm vs buel rm. i know from expernce that the 600s are capable of 7'05s with pro and ive done a 7.13 with the buel with some costly mistakes (no crashes, just mostly badly missed apexes) so it could be torque vs revs match.

Cool then, Triumph vs. Kawasaki vs. Buell (all RM)

Reason why I said all 5 (or 6 if you include the buell) is the teams have a wider variety.

i went with buel v trumph v kawasaki. the 600s have more hp, but, the buel is smoooooth with all that torque. the 600s are really light too to make up for the lack for torque. should be close ...

Isnt there a RM bike in Triumph thats comparable to the 910 Brutale RM? You should include that aswell to your 910 race.

Teams choose the bike (not plural)...

So if the team decides on what bike to use, then both use it. Teamwork is paramount, using different bikes on a team would be useless.

Now I think alot of us know how to make sigs, how about we all send you a thumbnail of our team potriat es? Simply, what I'm thinking of doing for my teamate, is making a sig like picture, and use his number, preffered machine, and rider form, and then do some copying and pasting (like here: http://www.motogpboards.com/showthread.php?t=489) his bike or my bike into a single picture, representing the team.

note - the yamaha sr400rm is being added to compete against the honda cb400ss rm in the classic tt round.

es nes i think you have to be clearer on kicking up dirt rule - myself thinks it should be run on par with GTPlanet rules IE Completely clean lap as everyone knows exactly where they stand ;)

As for touching walls that has to be a no no the reason being try touching a wall in real life and getting away with it, just does'nt happen.

If we go for a bit of dirt the best way to gauge it would be 1 tyre width ( Of the bike in use ) as then you have something to measure against as you just use photo mode and select the camera angle that gives you optimum view :D

i think that is a good solution. the walls are not going to "bounce" you back on a track. you should not be allowed to hit any walls at all. all clean laps are ok with me. i dont mind if there is a little grass usage, by that i mean, if you would crash riding in real life, and its obvious, your lap would be DQ'd. like if you use full throttle while on the grass, you will fall, especially on anything with more than 20 hp.

Replays...... can only be played on the playstation ( not Your PC ) ;)

Pal versions of the game can only play Pal replays.

and vice versa

NTSC can only play NTSC replays

on this site directly load replay to the TTBikeSim database for all to share or use link - SHARE YOUR REPLAYS - theres one @ the top of this page :D

Or if appropriate add as attachment in a post but on some sites you may have to zip it first.

Downloading you do the opposite - first to your pc then transfer to usb and then to your PS2 and play in replay theatre.

The PDI folder on the USB will only allow 1 replay at a time otherwise the PS2 will not recognise it ;) which unfortunately means alot of trips back and forth :(

New personal best 6.54.133 on the Tiger CBR1000RR. Had a 6.4xx gap on ghost of the lap before of 6.58 almost lost on the bend on the big straight ended up touching the grass for a second when trying to get control again. Finished with only a 4.8xx gap. Could of had a freakin 6.52

He said he had a 6.4 second lead.

Meaning he would of had 6'52. But instead he got 6.54 after loosing two seconds.

regarding the dirt/grass touch, ive left it as is and as long as its nothing more than a 1 or 2 (not abusing it) then that should be fine. that distance will also dq'd laps where the rider misses the braking point and runs very wide apparently using the grass as the brakes.

no, you pick one bike or the other and use free run, not the race option. the race option doesnt allow you to save your fastest lap replay. each race is 1 week long btw.

isaac: actually, you pick one of the three bikes (or all three if youd like.) then go to the practice section, and choose "free run". the you can do as many laps as you want, and save your fastest under "save best run/lap."

you dont have to drop out either. the championship is roughly 1 week for each event. so that makes it about 10 weeks long. at most you will miss one event, maybe two.

for future refernce: running way off track, even on pavement, will be considered the same as running way off course on to dirt/grass. if you are uncertain, please feel free to ask. also, no cone killing. curbing is usually fine, but, cutting turn 4 at deep forest for example is off limits.

you can use the ais lines for refernce some times. refering to deep forest example again, the ai dont cut turn 4.

so rry for being so diffcult ;)

Anyone can do it.

I set up a dodgy platform and filmed my TV playing back the replay using the video feature of my digital still camera. That's why the sound and video are so dodgy. Then I loaded it to a laptop and uploaded it to YouTube. It all only takes half an hour with a good connection.

It is nowhere near the quality offered by a proper capture card or a DVD recorder.

I Was Only Inferring To The Winning Video as others may wish to view :D

Hi, obviously only just joined here, have had TT a couple of weeks after getting back from Uni.

Anyway, how long does it take roughly to adjust to Pro mode? So far I've only been racing on standard/default mode or whatever it's called, and with minimal set up changes (only brakes and tyres since I don't have a clue about suspension settings and stuff), but have managed some seemingly decent times but I'm guessing these are gonna go up once I try Pro mode properly...

diatribe - it took me a hour plus/minus to get used to pro mode with manual tranny. youre mileage may vary. my problem was that i was holding downshift when i wanted to tuck and upshift when i wanted to use the rear brake.

becarefull if you lock the rear brake because when you let off the rear brake, you may not be in gear because the game won engage the current gear until you give it some throttle.

you can win the yamaha in challenges iirc.

a word on the ai ... you cannot hit the ai to move them out of the way. if they hit you while making a clean pass because they never adjust their lines while your around, then, thats a case by case. but, always try to stay clean with the ai.

so...why is the zx6 dropped from the ring? n i would think it is a little quicker than the other two, but i havent really tried them yet.

zx-6r rm - 7'03
650rm - 7'07
buel rm - 7'07

when push comes to shove, i can usually take a 1-3 seconds off in a race and sometimes you guys are still a second or two faster yet. lets say i get a 7'05 and then you guys manage a 7'03, then the kwack still has more time in as evident by spires 7'01 replay.
