View Full Version : Motoczysz, should it be added in TT2? isaac8317 30-07-2006, 02:27 AM Hey guys I saw this new bike called the C1 from MOTOCZYSZ and I liked it alot. I just want to know how many of you would like to see it in game? callaghan 30-07-2006, 02:55 AM i think it would be really cool to have this in a game, kinda like a concept car in gt...however, i cant see it happening. because of the uniqueness of this bike, i dont think the current physics engine will be able to replicate this bike. everything is different about it, im sure you know if youre asking about it. great bike it is though, or so ive read. this dude has to be one smart cookie. es nes 30-07-2006, 03:00 AM callaghan - you say that like the current phyics do everything just right with the bikes weve now ;) callaghan 30-07-2006, 03:10 AM twin counter rotating cranks. split 4cyl, mounted longitudinally. no balance effects from the crank. the front "forks" arent even round...:eh:  nes: yeah, there are a few complaints...as you know...but i thought that the r6 in the game was very, very similar to my bike...i dont believe that bike will be close to what the game could portray. es nes 30-07-2006, 05:13 PM so basically the engine is like the "old" 500cc strokes which were two 250cc v-twin put together but didnt share a common crank? callaghan 30-07-2006, 05:28 PM kinda the same theory. but the motor is more like an inline 4, than a v-twin. SKINNYHIPPY 01-08-2006, 07:24 AM i was going to say - it could be the 'ultimate prize' for completing the game or something but I think we'd find it a massive dissapointment when you actually got to 'ride' it ? i'd like to see them do something like a Suzuka 8hr ? - with a fuller field where you could 'pit' every hour or so and possibly save the game at that point if you wanted to ? ultimately MotoGP bikes are what I want but it's never going to happen. es nes 02-08-2006, 02:18 AM so whats the deal behind this bike? is it the real deal or just a lot of good ideas thatll never race? specially since this is the last year for 980cc motogp bikes? isaac8317 03-08-2006, 10:42 AM Yeah, your right aren't you? I saw in a magazine that DUCATI is making an 800cc Moto GP bike. So, are we gonna see an 800 RC211V or YZR-M1 then? Well, the guys over at Motoczysz have plans to race in 2008 with the C1. The only thing is they will have to build an 800 cc version of the twin crank Z-4 engine. Unless, they build both a 600 and 750; in which they could bore out to 800cc's (the 750) then they could "legally" race. I am excited about the idea of an American bike competing. I mean yeah theres Honda and all but this bike will have been both designed and built in the USA. Anyway those are just my thoughts. =o) C-ya guys.! callaghan 03-08-2006, 11:55 AM designed and built in the usa by a polish architech...id say its half american, half polish. also, motoczysz is building 50 "replicas" which will be very close to the real deal, just with minor mods to make them streetable. (not necessarily street legal, just so the ultra rich can enjoy ride every now and then.) nes: yes, this bike is fully intended to race. just that when the project started 4 or 5 years ago, they were doing 500's still, then went to the 990, then next year they are going to 800's. think about how pissed this dude must be. i bet in the 08 season, we will see this bike at the back of the pack, mostly for testing and gathering data. everyone that has ridden this thing ablsoutely loves, especially the front end (which is a very trick setup), but they all also say that is feels so different from what a "normal" bike feels like, that it will take a lot of getting used to. CELTIC 03-08-2006, 05:45 PM Yeah, your right aren't you? I saw in a magazine that DUCATI is making an 800cc Moto GP bike. So, are we gonna see an 800 RC211V or YZR-M1 then? Yep 800cc Next Term with BMW and i also here ilmor racing are developing an 800cc race bike for motoGP it's in this weeks MCN news :D http://www.motorcyclenews.com/jpeg/523/14741473.jpeg Probably Best to Search for ilmor v4 on google Usul 20-09-2006, 08:19 PM Yeah, from what I've read about this guy and the bike, it sounds like it just might be competitive after a few years of development. I definitely like the aerodynamic forks (I was wondering when someone was going to do that, F1 style). What's really crazy is, at my school (MMI) they had a job posting for this guy for entry level techs to actually help build these bikes. Sucks that I don't graduate until Dec of 07 (I'll still send him a letter with a transcript though) |
