TTWSO, along with Yamaha NA are coming together for an open track day for all of the fans to see and new racers to get used to pro mode controller mode. TTWSO have rented out clubman stage R5 for all your practice and hot lapping needs. yamaha have graceiously provided us with numerous brand new YZF-R6s (non-rm) complete with sports exhausts by yoshimira as well as preformance tyres by pireli (no stairing at the pireli gurls! :P )

all that we ask is that if you hit a wall hard enough to feel it that you check in with a yamaha tech for the bike to be fixed (dq'ing that lap time, but, you should stay off the walls!)

your bikes are warmed up and the tyres are sticky, once youve completed a fast lap, post it here and your friendly PR guy will have it added to the time sheet asap. also, your pr guy will be recording your fastest laps and they will be available for you to post here: http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/ for all other races and specators to enjoy. this is not manditory, but, is recommended for all enjoyment.

happy lapping!
:D

56.955 so far. I'm still trying to find the right line for the last 2 turns. The walls around here get awfully big when you're pushing.

59.827 so far.

Really struggling for corner speed, i think that's where i'm losing most time, the bike just wants to push wide.

57.989 so far for me, with splits of 20.018 and 36.207

Hi Big_Ham you will probably find it's your preload set too high if the front is pushing wide try preload of 37 or 47 ;)

yeah, i would even go so far as to say you could put the front at1 or 2, and then the back should be able to be around a 4 or 5. experiment, and see what works for you.

beheaded myself sooooo many times - i had to alter riding position to stop myself doing it - my brain cant get around staying off the apex.

just over 58s at the minute and just can not get any faster - i rekon i did 100 laps over the weekend and i just can't get anymore out of the bike. i've changed the gearing, the rider position, the suspension (mainly guess work) and i 'm just not getting any quicker. :(

Update 57:740 Very Frustrating Track Keep Missing A Turn In Point Which Wrecks The Run Also Having Problems Getting The Drive Correct Out Of The Last Corner.

And Clipping Walls :(

Callaghan That Time 57:2 must be near on perfect

I rekon i'm going as fast as is possible on 90% of the track it's just the first tight left hander - i just can't carry enough speed OR i can't accelerate out hard enough without getting launched into orbit.

the last corner is tough to get right too. maybe another 100 laps is what i need ? i just can't see where I can claw a full second back

after chatting with celtic the other night, i set my preloads to 2/8. that helped me improve, so cheers teamy :D

i had my damper bound at 3 f/r, rebound at 6 f/r. top speed set at lowest possible, 160mph.

cheers for the advice - i'll give those a try.

i managed to take three seconds off my lap time on the standard bike by 'tweaking' the suspension but that last second just evades me.

i think my trouble is i make too many changes at a time so i'm not finding out what's working and what isn't. i'm too impatient to come all the way out - make a mod and then go back in the the game.

they need to open the pit-lane so you can ride through - make your mods and ride off.

sort it out please polyphony.

you're not going 'all the way out' to your home/garage to change settings are you?

if hes adjusting his form he would have to.

btw - i thought id point out this will be open at least as long as the champion goes on or until interest runs out.

57.709

Spire - any chance we could see that 56.9 of yours? :)

if hes adjusting his form he would have to
seeing as i posted bike settings and he responded to what i assume (perhaps wrongly) were those, i
thought we were talking bike set up. this can as we know be adjusted in the free run screen.

if he's indeed talking form, then you're right yep, he'd have to go home :D

SKINNYHIPPY

sorry - i was refering to form.

i've tried everything i could in the suspension set-up so i'd started to adjust my form to see if that helps.

just for the record - it made sod-all difference - i'm clearly just sh***
