Offical Tourst Trophy rules and team listings.
How to compete: every race will be held in TT Mode using either a race or "tt mode > practice > real world/orginal/city course > trackname > free run"
replays will be required for the podium finishers and will be greatlly appercatited, but not nesacary, from everyone else. to get a replay onto your pc you will need a compatable usb flash card. simply save the replay to the memory card, then in replay theatre on the main menu. select the transfer replay from memory card to usb option (second or thrid icon from the bottum iirc) then upload the replay.dat file to http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/ replays can be vareifed by anyone, but, only callaghan and myself maye disqualify a replay. if a PAL user has issues with another PAL replay, then please send a private message to me (es nes) with pictures and a brief report of the problem and ill look into it.
Failuire condictions and automatic/manual shifting are up to the riders prefernce. however, everyone must use pro mode controller setting to ensure everyone has the same base level grip. you are free to adjust your rider form, motorcycle set up and any tyre youd like to use as you see fit. good luck with soft tyres at the 10 lap race at Suzuka though ;)
if a new team is formed with in the first two rounds, ill allow the team the points that were earned between the two riders from the first two rounds. but, if any new teams are formed after the end of the second then the team will start with no points since the team is new technically wouldnt have been around to earn points.
running way off track, even on pavement, will be considered the same as running way off course on to dirt/grass. if you are uncertain, please feel free to ask. also, no cone killing. curbing is usually fine, but, cutting turn 4 at deep forest for example is off limits. you can use the ais lines for refernce some times. refering to deep forest example again, the ai dont cut turn 4.
the ai ... you cannot hit the ai to move them out of the way. if they hit you while making a clean pass because they never adjust their lines while your around, then, thats a case by case. but, always try to stay clean with the ai.

7th 9 points
8th 8 points
9th 7 points

12th 4 points
13th 3 points
14th 2 points
15th 1 points
Teams will compete for a Championship. All points scored by both
riders in the Team, including substitutes or replacements, will count
towards the Team Championship. Meaning that if one rider scores a first place finish first and second, their points total of 45 (25+20=45) will be the team points for that round.
Even if you are a team of one, you will still be scoring team points and you do not need to have a team of two people to race in the championship. the maxium amount of people in a team is two though teams are encouraged to share information to help improve the competition.
A word on off going off track and walls: its fine to kick up a little dirt here and there on exit or from turning in too soon. but, the lap time/race will be disqualified if you go more than aproximately foot off track. you may not hit/touch the walls. if you crash, that lap/race is also disqualifed. At nordschliefe, the rules might be slightly soften due to the nature of the track and will be decided on a case by case situations. just do not abuse this rule and id strongly prefer that if you do have off road incedents that you do not have more than 1-3 depending on the lenght of the race.
HAVE FUN!
