Is there a way to customize the camera views in TV mode replays?

Each time I watch a replay in TV mode (the default replay view) on a certain track, the same camera angles are used at precisely the same points in the lap.

Now just last night I was watching a replay on the same track, in TV mode, and the camera angles the replay displayed were completely unfamiliar to me -- it showed TV mode angles I'd never seen before.

Is there a setting I'm missing?

And while I'm here, I also notice that on some replays of hotlaps, the final laptime is shown in big characters at the end. I've never been able to do this for my own replays on my PS2. Is this something that happens automatically when people view replays that are not their own? Is there are particular setting to enable this?

I have noticed differences Uncreated, Try this and see if you agree - watch an original replay IE one you have saved on your PS2 then download it to your PC - copy it back to USB load it back onto the PS2 and see if it gives you different Views ;) I do believe some of the camera's change :P

and no i hav'nt got a clue why this happens :?

ive noticed that if i watch a replay more than once in a row, than some camera angles change. i get the big numbers at the end of the tt practice laps, but only after the replay was saved as a best run replay.

This is an example of a Nurb replay with those unfamiliar angles. You two have played it enough to know the familiar ones, so it's a fitting example.

in gt4, if you watched a 4 lap replay. the camera positions would be different from the lap before then would reset to the first lap positions on lap 4. depending on the track, hsr for example, it would reset back after only 2 lap iirc.

Spire's Nurb replay from the championship was a first and only lap run and his angles are different too.

yes, and ive noticed that if you watch a bunch of replays at one time (like if you set up a play list) the itll still keep track.
