Then save your fastest replay onto a USB stick from the replay theater area and upload it to TT Replays (http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/). The fastest time wins. Make sure the time submitted is a best lap replay as that ensures the correct lap is saved with the replay, rather than the complete session.

Yamaha MT-01 RM

es nes 22-08-2006, 01:45 AM side note: you may use the run off at the final chicane, but, please try to stay on track at the chicanes before the sector 2 mark (or, after the second hairpin) coming over the blind left that leads to the second hairpin, you may use all off the run off/concret curb.
and yes, Yamaha is the TTWS primary spouncer
callaghan 22-08-2006, 01:53 AM i was wondering about the all yamaha series, i mean...*coughs* ;)
Rare White Ape 22-08-2006, 12:20 PM MT-01? Ugh...
I better get to it then if I'm to maintain fourth in the championship.
Speaking of, can we have a championship standings list?
callaghan 22-08-2006, 04:26 PM here it is. (http://www.motogpboards.com/showthread.php?t=553)

its not a bad bike, its just a little over weight. i really only felt it mid corner and in the tye wear.
es nes 22-08-2006, 11:18 PM 2'02.9 best lap in practice so far. im predicting the fast guys will be in the 2'00-01 range with occasional teasing 1'59s ;)
[edit - ive yet to get a clean race because i catch up to the leading ai, a mv agusta f4 rm, in the final chicane. the ai goes through the chicane sooo slow i end up rear ending him while waiting for the chance to get on the throttle. then if i get by before the last corner, his superior hp gets him beside me going into the final corner and bumps me out of the way. if i make it through clean im usually out braking him into t1 (202kg of muscle bike trying to out brake 192kg superbike :erm: ) ]
callaghan 23-08-2006, 04:58 AM did one race, ran 10.17, with a crash and kicking the AI off their bikes. lol
this one should be close to about 10 minutes i think.
im passing the 1st place ai into the right sweeper going under the bridge, but then again, i had a 'prilla in front of me.
first impressions of this thing are good. its got a good attitude about it, bit its very overweight, and its apparent in its cornerspeed. i actually got this thing to flick so hard i grounded everything, my knee disappeared into the track, and then i lowsided. my fast lap was a 2.02.xxx

I like it, Arctic Monkey Racing is perfect :D

pic shows me taking the lead in the hairpin on lap 2
nice to be sat on something substantial after those skinny race reps :D
callaghan 24-08-2006, 02:52 AM rider: callaghan
team: TTWSO
total time: 10.13.848
fast lap: 2.01.534
i like these bigger bikes a lot more than the little tz's. to be honest, i think the bigger bikes have a little more character. but the tzs' are like the ultimate track tool.

DJ Baker 24-08-2006, 06:10 AM I can't imagine how you guys are turning times like that already. I felt like I was doing pretty good at
10'34.747 & 2'05.604. I've tried a bunch of Set-Up changes & haven't found anything that works any better over race distance. Kudos to you fast folks!
DJ Baker 24-08-2006, 06:19 AM By the way, what happened to my Backmarker Racing moniker?
callaghan 24-08-2006, 11:58 AM By the way, what happened to my Backmarker Racing moniker?
my apologies. will get it changed asap.
DJ Baker 24-08-2006, 01:58 PM my apologies. will get it changed asap.
Thanks. Wasn't a big deal, just seems rather appropriate condsidering I'm 20+sec off the pace.
callaghan 25-08-2006, 04:29 AM here is a 10.24.xxx replay that was entertaining to watch (for me anyways). complete with highside at the end!
watch it here. (http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/single.php/190)

2 - 2:03.414
3 - 2:02.635
4 - 2:03.066
5 - 2:04.557
total - 10:19.333 (http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/single.php/197)
an enjoyable 5 lapper, imo 8O
es nes 27-08-2006, 08:26 PM argh! had a really good run going until i ran off track going into the last chicane on the last lap. my last lap was at least 2-4 seconds slower than what it should have been so that would have improved my time greatly. had nothing but 2.02s and a 2'06.0 first lap :(
es nes 27-08-2006, 08:57 PM 10'17.731. my run before that was going better till i ran off track :(
anyways, i could improve that my arm is starting to feel sore and my steering thumb is twitching in the worst places. oh well, this will have to do.
callaghan 27-08-2006, 10:06 PM im going to try and give it one more run before midnight, i got a feeling spire will have something up his sleeve. :)
es nes 28-08-2006, 01:28 AM heh ... 2'01.9, but, im inconsistint. im taking advantage of somehow a mv f4s rm didnt appear. though a fjr rm is giving me problems in the first s-bends.
[edit - laps 1 and 5 are killing me]
es nes 28-08-2006, 02:08 AM hmm ... just a little better .... 10'15.812

es nes 28-08-2006, 03:23 AM another minro update from me 10'15.096
i managed to get a 2'05.1 first lap, but, then failed to break the 2'02 barrier the rest of the race. the total time stayed down because the last lap was a 2'02.9 iirc.
i wish i could master using those huge cyclinders to help me slow down faster. the first lap, it stoped on a dime but i couldnt get it to do it again for laps 2 and 3. oh well, its all about squaring the corners off and using that phat torque to get out of corners fast.
CELTIC 28-08-2006, 03:38 AM Due to mechanical failure only 10:31:683 :(
es nes 28-08-2006, 03:49 AM CELTIC - tbh, i was kind of worried you wouldnt get a time in at all. little over a hour left at this point ...

Looking for a suspension guy with a clue. Mine is only good at finding the point where nothing seems to make a difference anymore.
callaghan 28-08-2006, 04:56 AM what i ran.
springs at 7
preload, 4 front, 8 rear
rebound at 7
compression at 5front, 6rear
i got a 10.11.666, but i touched grass at the last corner, on the last lap. fast lap was a 2.00.899.
i like this bike, especially since its a stardard (streetfighter?). very well balanced, and surprisingly quick for a 450lb, 100hp bike!
great times from everyone.
es nes 28-08-2006, 05:00 AM callaghan - i kept bound at 5/5 as you sent it to me, but, had preload at 3/8 with brakes at 5/5. if done right, the engine braking on this bike slowed the mighty breast quick enough.
[edit - The garages of TTWSO eurpts into joy as they celebrate their very first 1-2 finish  ]
callaghan 28-08-2006, 05:15 AM awesome man, awesome time!!! i had fun throwing this bike around...sometimes throwing it too hard, and lowsiding it:lol: but it was a great combination. this bike at this track was a lot of fun.
CELTIC 28-08-2006, 09:43 AM Great times lads ;) The Championship hots up 8O very close now :P
Personally though i bloody hated that one just could'nt get on with it at all :?
es nes 28-08-2006, 11:46 AM awesome man, awesome time!!! i had fun throwing this bike around...sometimes throwing it too hard, and lowsiding it:lol: but it was a great combination. this bike at this track was a lot of fun.
i only low sided once and that was coming out of the final turn, tucked in, full throttle and all he weight on the back. run over the curb with the exhaust in the pavement and touched the grass.
and, congrats! :)
es nes 31-08-2006, 01:29 PM and here is my replay. sorry it took me so long to upload it :(
