After watching the Czech GP again this afternoon and seeing Loris ride off into the distance, i wondered.....................
Was it just one of those times when all the cards fall into place (eg Bridgestone finally getting a tyre right)? Or........
Has Ducati finally arrived as a legitimate title threat?????
Personally I don't think the Duke will become a championship contender this year, but I wouldn't rule it out in the future. Last year the bike went well from pretty much this stage of the season onwards, and with Loris now match fit again I think he'll definitely spoil someone's party a few times before 2006 is done.
Imo if Bridgestone could produce tyres that went the distance for each round then Ducati would be very much in the fight.

i believe he had one win already, and im not sure about his other places...let me google it and check...
two wins, two seconds, and a thrid. not bad...
ducati did well at last few tracks last year....but ducati have clicked i think now. they are doing really well and may still have chance of winning at valencia!
next year-800's and capirossi.....what a combination!
