View Full Version : Dirt cheap missile... Rare White Ape 27-08-2006, 11:03 AM Don't you wish you had a spare $5000 and lived near me: 1991 Kawasaki ZXR750 (http://www.bikepoint.com.au/DesktopDefault.aspx?UsedBikeID=1977624&TabID=3424&Alias=bikepointau) CELTIC 27-08-2006, 11:31 AM Very nice example - I Believe that the Kwaka 750 was Troy Bayliss original race bike when he first started out :D Rare White Ape 27-08-2006, 11:51 AM Probably. Scott Russell and The Go Show raced them as well. I was just discussing the bike with my dad tonight and he said that if a beginner was to attempt to ride that, it would scare the living shit out of them and they'd never want to ride again :D Seeing how I have never ridden a bike before, I'll have to pass it up :( I have my eyes on a VFR400 anyway. Been looking at video's on Google: http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-1700259741131066187&q=vfr400 Dom 28-08-2006, 11:01 AM I reckon a beginner would be alright with it so long as they're someone who's happy to go easy on the throttle 'til they have a decent chunk of experience. Lovely bikes too. callaghan 28-08-2006, 05:41 PM i can see it now... WTB: Steering damper, ASAP :) :D Rare White Ape 29-08-2006, 08:28 AM LOL I was looking at VFR400's for sale last night and they go for AUD$7,500 for a good condition example, compared to that Kwak's $5,000, I'm so stuck! Maybe a cheap dirtbike would do the trick... isaac8317 29-08-2006, 08:31 AM I saw a Honda 954 Fireblade for 4,000 USD on Ebay (USA) today. I also saw on in person today and I loved it...he he hence the ebay search, LOL. |
