looking back at when i first got the game and started collecting bikes and getting my licenses. the tz250 challenge was stupidly hard, always 1-2 seconds off winning a tz250 of my own. when i finally won my first one, i did so by slightly love tapping the leading ai and crossing the finish line before it did. but, in my defence i never cut accross the grass in the tsukba bike chicane.

the last time i tryed the challenge a couple weeks ago, i was finally able to start winning by with the 10 second count down even though i was a few feet from the start/finish line. but, tonight i finally made the "big" win. on the second lap going into the chicane, i out braked the leading ai and he tapped my rear wheel. my rear slid slide ways and i remained in enough controll to get on the gas and flick back to the left which is where it hit me again. no way was i letting go of my fastest win so i tuck back in and give it as much throttle as it can take. the clock stops before i get to the brake zone for the next corner giving me a 1'33.7xx total time :D

you pal peoples never struggled with this challenge since, iirc, the ai were dumbed down in this challenge. but, the ntscna/jp users will understand perfectly ;)

That challenge was peanuts compared to the difficulty I had with the full-lap Laguna license test. I spent about ten continuous hours in one sitting and couldn't do it, then another seven hours the following day until I finally beat it.

i only had the problem with the TZ at first, but now it is cake. its amazing how much easier it is now. i think the rest should have been a little harder. if polyphony could make a decent AI...
