Dom 05-09-2006, 09:14 AM Just looks like an MV track bike to me, although the exhaust/lack of is a bit weird. What makes you think it'd be a GP bike? isaac8317 05-09-2006, 09:30 AM What makes you think it'd be a GP bike? The smoothness simplicity of the farrings and lack of factory looking exhaust plus the extreem un-comfortable looking seat, LOL. Not to ment when I look at the mono tail farring; it appears to mesh up to frame un-like a factory bike. The Honda RC211V looks a bit similar to the CBR1000 RR. I figure this one looks similar to the F4 so I thought it might be a GP bike. Wouldn't be great though to have the Lambo of bikes back in the Moto GP after a couple decades well 4, LOL? Dom 05-09-2006, 10:36 AM The more the merrier in GP, but I'd bet my own wheels that that's just someone's track bike complete with track fairings. Where'd you get the pic? isaac8317 05-09-2006, 11:03 AM The more the merrier in GP, but I'd bet my own wheels that that's just someone's track bike complete with track fairings. Where'd you get the pic? aHHHHHHHHH I will have to search again but I promise I will post a link. and here it is: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.kaemna.de/pic/tuning/v2testahj1.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.kaemna.de/cms_de/tu_example.htm%3F%26ct%3D28&h=768&w=1024&sz=182&hl=en&start=1&tbnid=ZfvPm1jrAnfz_M:&tbnh=113&tbnw=150&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dv2testahj1%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26l r%3D%26safe%3Doff%26rls%3DDVXA,DVXA:2006-07,DVXA:en%26sa%3DN It is in german and I translated it and basically it is a Ducati with custom farrings made to emulate the F41000. Sadly my dream may never come true for a GP F4 =o( Dom 05-09-2006, 04:33 PM Makes sense - you don't see many MVs with trellis frames. callaghan 05-09-2006, 05:47 PM looks like a 999r with track bodywork, and a race swingarm. still a nice oiece of machinery. i you look closely, you can see the rear cylinder sticking out the back of the frame. just noticed there are no front brake rotors, or a chain, or a rear sprocket, among other things... |
