So I'm at a disadvantage es nes as you've raced here before,

I'm finding this track a bit frustrating as for every 10 runs i do i only manage to complete 1 Race :(

Diatribe

This is really annoying me. Best is a 5:54.419 (FL 1:10.267) but now I have a better setup; only thing is that I can't seem to complete for than 3 laps without highsiding :(

Backmarker Racing are on the 'Busa by the way.

Edit: Down to 5:52.586, FL 1:09.594. Not too bad but dammit you're going well Es Nes. Still more to come I'm guessing as well :)

DOH!!! forgot to save the replay...see what happens when you dont play for a week...

DJ Baker

Even with a bunch of help from my new teammate, I can't get under 6'00 for the life of me. :wall: I might have figured out why though... I noticed that I'm 66.6% completed with the game, so it must be  !
I guess I could just win one of the 25 bikes that I lack to get to 100%, but then I wouldn't have an excuse anymore. ;)

Kudos to Diatribe for moving the Backmarker Racing name up the leaderboard!

No worries, just slowly working on improving this week.

Just got a 5:50.778 (1:12.3, 1:09.1, 1:09.1, 1:09.4, 1:10.7), which I should be able to improve upon after such a poor last lap, plus I need to mess around with the suspension a bit more.

#72 by the way :)

DJ Baker
16-09-2006, 05:05 PM
After a few changes...
• Tweaked every gear but 1st. • Tweaked all susp setting but my teammates preload suggestion.
• Less aggressive riding form.
• Better lines thanks to a replay posted elsewhere by a buddy (Thanks if you're out there Slow1!).
• Timing untucking/tucking better.
• And some properly applied agression on throttle application allowing me to carry a higher gear in a couple places.
...I've managed to get into the low 5'56s. Nothing for you podium contenders to worry about, but progress none the less. I'll try to get under 5'55 before I throw in the towel.

I've been out all day, come in with a headache and don't have a clue how I can improve my setup so I'm stuck with 5:50.778.

God knows where I could get another second from, let alone six.

well done nes :D and well done all, it was a very tough round

from the leaderboard, seems only team hazard used the ZX12

edit: i gave the 'busa a bit of a try, but didn't like it much

it seemed very hard to get any movement out of it

callaghan - http://www.motogpboards.com/images/icons/icon14.gif

750f-rm - i didnt give the big kwack much time because id do a few laps and switch bikes and i was always quicker/more comfortable on the busa than the kwack. the differnce was usually +/- 1 second. i usually did the busa and then went to the zx12.
