Great race though. Was good to see the new 'flag to flag' rules come into play and definitely a big improvement on aggregate races.
Nicely done by Vermeulen for getting his first podium and a great ride from Melandri too. I have got to find a clip somewhere of him spinning it up one-handed round the final corner. :eek:

i need to find a way to capture streaming video. that way i can save the races onto my computer, and then make little action clips...and stuff. anyone know a way i can do it?

I dont know much about it... I'll get more info later. (Same way how people capture replay's using their PC and PS2, same idea.)

callaghan - look into a program called fraps. itll record whats on your screen and save it to at least .avi format.
Melandri's one handed smokey salute onto the main straight was just awesome............ but i was torn as he has cost both Casey and Chris victories this season. Great race nevertheless........

I don't like this new rule, it seems pointless, dangerous and like they're trying to emulate Formula 1. Still better than the red flag/restart from scratch rule that they had a couple of years ago though.
Very good to see Melandri win, been a fan for a long while. Just a shame that the Catalunya crash cost him and Capirossi really good shots at the title, otherwise we could be in for one of the best finishes to a season ever (not that it isn't going to be excellent anyway).
What a slide and a win from melandri. great stuff and really enjoyed whole race. looks dangerous to me though (edwards crashed). hayden doesn't look like a champ to me-more like a chump
