Honda NS400R RM vs Suzuki RG500 Gamma RM vs Yamaha RZV500R RM - Amalfi - practice 1 lap

extra notes:

treat side walks as you would curbing.

at the last hairpin, due to the games low speed phyics you may use what appears to be a dust sidewalk because ive found it nearly impossible to not use it.

well, i guess i will put up the first time...2.07.091. TTWSO rider #1.

it is really annoying how bad the low speed physics are. they are just terrible!

there is something about having your knee on the ground going past a casual coffee shop.:P  we are on the yamaha rzv

Best I've managed so far is a rather pitiful 2:12.700. That's on the Yamaha though I'll have to see what bike DJ wants to use when he's about.

I hate this circuit sooo much.

2:11.961 for me, which is likely to be my final time. Had a very busy week and move house tomorrow so even if I do find the time to improve I may not be able to post my laptime 'cos of net access. Sorry DJ :(

Backmarker Racing are using the Honda by the way.

Usul #8 OnEdge Racing laptime of 2' 06.434

Those damn last 2 corners really mess up your times. They NEED to fix the slow speed physics on the next go around.

yes, the low speed stuff is rediculus...horrible...add any other synonym. its anything but realistic. on this track, i think the last three corners will decide the winner. get it right, and youve got a smokin lap time, but go too slow, and youll lose vital minutes...err, seconds...:? . there are some time when i cant even make the corner, because the entry is all wrong, even if you slow down to 5 mph.

down to a 2.05.037. i like the swepers in the middle part of the track. you can just flop it side to side, and even use a little rear wheel steering! :P

calla - what are youre spilt times?

[edit - that an interesting way to low side. i was going through the first stupidly slow hairpin, at the apex give it some gas to keep it turn then i was on the ground]

Not A Very Good Round This For The Pal Version, Tried everything But fastest Clean lap Is a 2:09:251

Calla just out of curiosity could ya Post your settings After the round so us pal guys can give it a shot cause 5 sec is alot ( not the first time i've wondered about the coding within the game )

I have to give you credit on this one as our fastest Duke times are low 2:03's
and on a bike over 20 years old too 8O

callaghan

haha...my plan has worked perfectly...j/k. ill come back strong with a 1.59. then ill wake up...

you mentioned that about the coding. i wonder if there is a difference between the different regions. i tried my absolute best at the first two rounds with the tz's and was blown away, yet, what appeared to be a slightly more causal run by whichever was posted on youtube.com (i forget whose it was) it was a second+ quicker. im not convinced the games versions are exactly the same. but, dont mistake that statement for me thinking there is a big conspiracy either.

Tried like mad to get under 2'10, but no dice. I did so many laps, all the photographers had to get new cameras. ;-) Nice pic by the way Diatribe!

I'm hoping to make a good showing next week. A strong desire to ride The Ring is the whole reason I got this game. Hopefully I can pull it off for real next Summer. I'll have to go there a few times for work again.
