View Full Version : Beginner Course Red Frog 29-09-2006, 10:38 PM Beginner Course Thread The Uncreated 29-09-2006, 10:53 PM Word. I'll be sure to populate it with some times within the next day or so. Uncreated Red Frog 29-09-2006, 11:09 PM I'd help attack the track but I'm just not as fast as some folk, not playing so frequently as when I first got it doesn't help much either. Anyway, here's something to get the ball rolling (http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/single.php/240). I'm anticipating deuces from you and the others. The Uncreated 30-09-2006, 04:28 AM Man, this track is tiny and narrow. I think I might have to break out the CBR600RR for this one. In the meantime, I offer a symbolic 25.893 for my first ever lap on the course on my untuned CBR1000RR (Valencia settings). Uncreated The Uncreated 30-09-2006, 04:57 AM After about ten minutes on this track, I have come to conclude that a cruel, sick joke has been played on me. Hahaha! It's not fit for anything above 1cc. LOL! Figure I should break out the 'busa and go for a tear? Uncreated The Uncreated 30-09-2006, 05:39 AM 23.674 CBR1000RR. Uncreated The Uncreated 30-09-2006, 05:58 AM 23.493. Top speed, 104 miles per hour. Uncreated Red Frog 30-09-2006, 10:04 PM After about ten minutes on this track, I have come to conclude that a cruel, sick joke has been played on me. Hahaha! Yeah well, I figured you could use a break after the Ring and Valencia. es nes 01-10-2006, 01:57 AM heh. 24.085 - tz250. callaghan 01-10-2006, 02:10 AM me and a buddy (matt) did this course a few months ago. i think we got a tz 125 into the 24's, before we gave up on it. es nes 01-10-2006, 02:44 AM i believe it, where a bigger bike loses corner speed, brute power makes up for it where as the little bikes will out corner them and keep up. motorsport land is still a gloriyed go-kart track, but, it almost seems like a smooth deep forest. -Decado- 01-10-2006, 10:33 PM 24.3xx on a 600RR, :D callaghan 02-10-2006, 08:56 PM 24.014 on the daytona 650 rm. on the third lap. i see a small bike holding the record here. i bet a 400 rm, or even a 250 two stroke will be taking the cake. The Uncreated 02-10-2006, 09:28 PM i see a small bike holding the record here. I'll upload my replay later. I ran through this track pretty flawlessly on the CBR1000RR RM. I'd be curious to see how you all do on those smaller bikes. Uncreated CELTIC 03-10-2006, 12:25 AM Yep small is the way to go TZ250 (03) :D 23:395 :D and theres a bit more :P Had a few 23:44x also top speed 115 http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/files/replays/yamaha/tz2502003/36542/REPLAY.DAT The Uncreated 03-10-2006, 02:37 AM 23:395 :D and theres a bit more :P Now I'm going to actually tune my CBR and squash you. Heh. Uncreated The Uncreated 03-10-2006, 05:52 PM 22'998. Still more in it yet. I've concluded that there's no hope for smaller bikes on this track; the long right hand bend before the straightaway to the start/finish line allows for too much acceleration buildup for the big bikes such that they leave smaller bikes about six bike lengths behind when the lap begins. Believe me, I tried with a CBR600RR. Replay later. Uncreated CELTIC 04-10-2006, 12:09 AM http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/2952/ducatifilabanner850nf9.jpg I just had to take the Duke out of the garage :D 22:874 ;) I found you have to get the Flip Flop going in the chicane  http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/files/replays/ducati/999rfilaracingmodify/793697/REPLAY.DAT The Uncreated 04-10-2006, 04:30 AM I just had to take the Duke out of the garage :D Good one. You know, when I first got the game, I was a hardcore Duke rider but I got to a point where I was convinced the bike didn't have the extra something to have it run with the other race-modifieds. You Europeans have completely changed my mind on the matter. I honestly didn't think it could put up times like Manters' Valencia 1'34.869, and again, your Beginner Course time. I know for a fact you were haulin' ass, because my .998 felt fast. Doesn't mean I'm giving up my baby, the CBR1000RR, however. :) Hopefully I could pull something faster out of the hat. Uncreated Red Frog 04-10-2006, 05:12 AM Very nice, I'll have some fun checking out these replays! Edit: Except for Celtic. Damn cross-region bullskrip. >:\ The Uncreated 04-10-2006, 07:30 PM 22:874 ;) I found you have to get the Flip Flop going in the chicane  This run 100% clean? :) As an experiment, I blew a straight line through the chicane and scored barely lower than your 874. Heh. Uncreated CELTIC 04-10-2006, 09:13 PM Calling all PAL Owners Can Someone please confirm the legitimacy of my run for The Uncreated :D If you ever get to see the replay i straight lined it too using the torque of the Duke spun it up and fired it out hitting all 3 apexes  REPLAY - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFdQ7OPyaG4 Total use of the game physics ;)http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/1139/ducatiavatarbt1.gif Some Photo's Of The Chicane :D 1. Entry (work that front) 2x Midcorner (Aka Melandri) - Last Photo Exit ;) Speeds were 80mph on entry 50mph mid and 65mph exit. callaghan 05-10-2006, 02:04 AM nice slide. on the tz 125, i was pushing the front real hard, then flicked it back to the left and just hit it wide open, and the rear stepped out just a little, but the games physics dragged the bike to the right, (like a really slow highside) exactly where the pavement turned to. it was sweet... 750F-RM 05-10-2006, 08:44 PM Calling all PAL Owners Can Someone please confirm the legitimacy of my run for The Uncreated :D clean lap, nice move through the chicane 8O sonic_blue 17-02-2007, 11:03 PM Fun little track this one, it's all about the chicane :) 0'22.430 (http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/single.php/449) |
