Hi people, I am into motorcycles and races all my life and I found this forum over Tourist Trophy game which is pretty real and good for testing and making good times on some circuits. By the way I ride ZXR 636 2005 euro model and like in real life in tourist trophy the speed in every gear is the same!
Example: in second gear in red line mine goes 165 km/h on display and on the dyno in 6. gear it goes 296 km/h which is the same like in game it might be not actual speed in real life as all speedos displays more. In game in gear ratio default setup the max speed is around 272 km/h which shows the real speed and real gear ratios of the gearbox which means that speedos are liars:D . For true tracks lap times and speeds on every part of the track are very real (like in SBK, supersport and superstock 1000, 600 races) and that is why I like this simulator game.

welcome. lol you are very observant. tachs in real life do lie, and so do the speedos. case in point, yamaha had a "recall" on their new 2006 r6, they claimed the redline was 17.5, but when it was tested, it could only muster 15.9k.

Oh I tought for speedos not tacho. Yes and the tachos can be liars, i think on dyno new R6 shows 16100. By the way I edited my first post tacho-speedo lol it is too late here so i make mistakes :)

Hehe, nice. How are the Croatian roads? I'm guessing not overflowing and covered with speed cameras?

Hmm well the roads in Croatia, Dalmatia (near sea) are twisty but with bad asphalt and a lot traffic:eek: , I like more bypass roads and roads not near sea because if you make mistake you are in rock or into the sea. But I dont really like to push hard on road because it doesnt make sense, it will be better to have supermoto than R bike. I am motorcycle mechanic and I like my bike even it is useless on road so I wont sell it but hope I will save some money in near future for used motard. There are sometimes police cars near road which waits to write ticket, that is more because of filling country budget than regulating traffic:(

its the same thing over here...they give this speech about being safe and blah blah blah...but its all just revenue generation. when a 10 over ticket is 140 bucks...that bs. nevermind, i wont get started. you are right about not being able to push your bike on the road. if yo do, you only get into trouble.

Yea but when I was in Germany with bike I havent seen any police patrol near road or highway:) , their police are in civil cars controling very fast vehicles on highway and mad people on road. When you see nice big car it could be police but they dont mind if you drive fast until 200 km/h if there isnt big traffic on highway and you drive correctly. On some parts there are no speed limits.
