Diatribe 29-10-2006, 11:25 PM This circuit is no fun (and not just because I'm crap on it) :(
Flat, featureless, no braking markers and continuous stop-start. And double apex hairpins are the work of the Devil.
CELTIC 29-10-2006, 11:28 PM I do believe that one Mr Valentino Rossi said the same
Flat, featureless, no braking markers and continuous stop-start. And double apex hairpins are the work of the Devil.
Thats why this track is a challenge ;)
es nes 30-10-2006, 01:26 AM there are braking markers ... theyre just way off the track ...
The Uncreated 30-10-2006, 02:02 AM The Honda your bike of choice now, Cal?
Uncreated
callaghan 02-11-2006, 02:19 AM no, not really. i enjoy riding most of the bikes in the game. the honda is no doubt one of the faster ones, but it doesnt turn that quickly. the yamaha i think turns better, but it doesnt get off the corner nearly as good.
that said, i like riding 90% of the bikes, and every one of them really does behave different.
The Uncreated 02-11-2006, 04:06 AM the honda is no doubt one of the faster ones, but it doesnt turn that quickly.
That's odd because I find the exact opposite of the Honda. It's probably the most nimble of the litre bikes, at least in my experience. It handles like a 600 and is crazy stable, even under the hairiest of situations. Of course, it may have a lot to do with my riding style, which is tilted way more toward maneuverability than speed.

Quite an eloquent and debonaire way to say the track is boring shite.
I must have fallen asleep 3 or 4 times during one race when I was still working on game completion.

Try the R1 RM and you'll have to change what you have said. I dont think its physically possible to have a nimble and stable bike at the same time, no? Honda: stability; Yamaha: Nervous but nimble.
