CELTIC - try it on the ntsc na/j versions while still learning the game engine/controlls etc. i can manage it now very easyly. my best time is a 1.36, but, i dont like the tz250 at tsukuba as 250s are high speed corner machine and tsukuba seems to be a stop and go track.

I lost the best part of 2 days on this when I first got the game :cry:

To have the clock run down on the main straight just after the line I believe will take some beating :D

Maybe with a spare week a TZ spot race or two is in order. The bike's a lot of fun to ride (on most tracks), am faster with it at Trial Mountain and Deep Forest than I am on the Duke.

Anyone for the TZ250 @ Monaco as we have never raced here and I think it might just suit the bike ;)

Tempting, but I know I'd have to buy a new controller by the end of the week. And a new head for my rider.

motorland would be a better choice than monaco imo.

nah, motorland is way too small for just about any bike...imo. i like the monaco idea. that and some big bikes on the fisco tracks...

well, its a much better flowing track than monaco.

huh? i have to disagree. there is no place to get any real speed at motorland...and monaco is very flowing, at least for me. the bike is almost never straight upright.

Yeah, with one of the dirtbikes. Take something bigger than 400cc and it's easily boring. Your momentum is soooo slow, there is no excitement to it. Heck even the Beginner course is more entertaining than Motorland. Monaco would be cool.

The reason I chose Monaco is that IMO it's a technical curcuit but also has it's fast parts IE up the hill and from the tunnel to the swimmingpool area so a good mix allround :D

I have also noted that others like the track on bikes and as we have never run there well at least since i've been on the boards I thought it may be a good choice to infill the weeks gap ;)

well, tight city tracks aren't where i'm happiest, as you'll have seen on rounds 7
and 8 of the ttws, but i'll give monaco a go if you put a thread up :eek: :D

yeah, i was at 1'00.xxx on my best attempt so far and was -2 at the line.
