Offical Tourst Trophy World Super Sport rules

How to compete: every race will be held in TT Mode > racing replays will be required for the podium finishers and will be greatlly appercatited, but not nesacary, from everyone off the podium. to get a replay onto your pc you will need a compatable usb flash card. simply save the replay to the memory card, then in replay theatre on the main menu. select the transfer replay from memory card to usb option (second or thrid icon from the bottum iirc) then upload the replay.dat file to http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/. Replays maybe be vareifyed by anyone, but, only Callaghan and myself may disqualify a replay. if a PAL user has issues with another PAL replay, then please send a private message to me (es nes or callaghan) with pictures and a brief report of the problem and well look into it.

Failuire condictions and automatic/manual shifting are up to the riders prefernce. however, everyone must use pro mode controller setting to ensure everyone has the same base level grip. if you are uncertain, please feel free to ask. also, no cone killing. curbing is usually fine, but, cutting turn 4 at deep forest for example is off limits. you can use the ais lines for refernce some times. refering to deep forest example again, the ai dont cut turn 4.

the ai ... you cannot hit the ai to move them out of the way. if they hit you while making a clean pass because they never adjust their lines while your around, then, thats a case by case. but, always try to stay clean with the ai.

Motorcycles you can use
Yamaha YZF-R6 RM
Triumph Daytona 650 RM
Kawasaki ZX-6R RM
Suzuki GSXR-600 RM

The first race will start one week from today (12/10/06) and will last until the following saturday. the xmas and new years races will last 2 weeks to allow for away from playstation time.

points
For each race, Championship points will be awarded on the following scale :
1st 25 points
2nd 20 points
3rd 16 points
4th 13 points
5th 11 points
6th 10 points
7th 9 points
8th 8 points
9th 7 points
10th 6 points
11th 5 points
12th 4 points
13th 3 points
14th 2 points
15th 1 points

team points
Teams will compete for a Championship. All points scored by both
riders in the Team, including substitutes or replacements, will count
towards the Team Championship. Meaning that if one rider scores a first place finish first and second, their points total of 45 (25+20=45) will be the team points for that round.

if a new team is formed with in the first two rounds, ill allow the team the points that were earned between the two riders from the first two rounds. but, if any new teams are formed after the end of the second then the team will start with no points since the team is new technically wouldnt have been around to earn points.

A word on off going off track and walls: its fine to kick up a little dirt here and there on exit or from turning in too soon. but, the lap time/race will be disqualified if you go more than aproximately foot track. you may not hit/touch the walls. if you crash, that lap/race is also disqualifed. if your front wheel touches the grass and you have to save the bike from low siding, that race/qualifing lap will not count.

Qualifing:
Since every race is will be a multi-lap race, i will be including qualifing. simply use practice in tt mode > track > free run. since qualifing will be 1 lap, your qualifing run must be 100% pole clean. pole sitter gets 1 bonus point.

you may not qualify in races in game so that you start on pole in front of the ai.

750F-RM is allowed to use the TTWS #1 for winning the TTWS and not being able to use a number in TTSS. CELTIC is allowed to use a normal #1 for winning TTSS.

Time Submission:
When submitting a time, please submit times like these:

qualifing:
number user name bike
laptime

race:
number user name bike
total time

this is to make it easier for us to keep track of whose on what/their number/time to add to the leaderboard/s

HAVE FUN!

Grid Picture So far :D

I just had a thought as it would be pretty easy to change the grid positions as the championship unfolded into the current championship standings after each round, that way no ones nose is out of joint if their at the back of the grid and 750-F and myself only start at the front due to obvious reasons 8O

Diatribe - No Gibernau Rep Either sorry

Still Waiting on Matt W and Mthielen

CELTIC
07-12-2006, 01:04 AM
I'll explain how i set up the shot or try to :P use camera #2 on wide angle lens

Focal Length 290

F 22

1/4000

EV 0.5

Click manual focus on front of bike with cross hairs ;) as it's only the bike were after

Now to line up the shot - use D-Pad to drop camera to it's lowest hight

line up the right side with the edge of the yellow Bosch sign

Then the bottom with the faint long Horizontal white line in front of the grid (you will find it @ 7 o'clock) infront of 750 and myself ;)

This should give your bike the correct proportions :D

PS Now Got The GIB REP ;)

For P182, the Doohan rep you get from the Heavyweight Series, Grand Valley Speedway race. And though I posted the white Alpinestars in the pics above, I think I'll stick with the camo ones.

Ouch, ten minutes? I had a 40 minute presentation this past Thursday and it wen't pretty well, but I know how you feel.
Aye, 10 minutes isn't that long, it's just a case of sitting down and getting on with it. With any work these days it seems the longest part is just the damn reading and preperation rather than the writing. And drawing myself away from the pub, internet and PS2, etc.

Thanks for the PM by the way :)

Es Nes and Mthelien, you should really team up since you're the only R6 runners. Sure it'd be to both of your advantages as well.

Lol, and I'm squashed in the middle. If someone high-sides or low sides in front of me or next to me... I'm so screwed. :shifty:

Anyways, I like it how I was randomly put in the middle of the picture. My guy looks pretty determined.

Hi P182!

Wanna say sorry too!! It was only because of taking the chance to join a suzuki team. I drive a GSX-R 1000 in real life and decato was just reminding me of that.

when i won my first race bike, i closed my eyes, and held up on the control pad. i randomly stopped and opened my eyes, and it was on #88. (also, psychologically, humans are more apt to remember a double digit number comprised of a single digit, repeated. ;) )

and you did a fabulous job with the grid photo! Freakin' Sweet!

No Problem Matt W as I'll update the grid each week as I'm using photoshop and each bike has its own layer so even if new riders join it's just a matter of adding a new layer :D

Don't think he meant to, but yeah Canada has it's fair share of talent. Wayne Gretsky being just that. :D (well... he's not average)

http://www.wera.com/graphics/smilies/offt.gif gretzky was/is a god! him and Patrick Roy both, well, in my opinion, are some of the greatest players to ever grace the cup. (obviously Howe and others too, but i dont want to get too off topic.)

there is a fair amount of talent on this board, from many different nations. i believe we have the best TT players from around the world right here!

mthielen
22-12-2006, 08:57 PM
i've to agree with Callaghan there, on previous forums i've been there was never this much of good players together.
I think each one of us has his own talents, which is good because otherwise i would be as boring as on the other forums.

For excemple i'm very good at Valencia and again other players are again good atother tracks in which i'm not that good which are about the rest of the tracks :D

I'll be a privateer till the end of this championship, but i'll create or join some team at a start of a new one.
