I figured some of us might want a break from infineon once or twice, so, well have another choice track to play with to take a break from trying to knock off those last few tenths. and since weve not had an "offical" race at the nordschliefe recently, what better place?

bikes:

road:
GSX-R750
GSX-R1000
CBR954 Fireblade
CBR1000RR
ZX-10R
YZF-R1
F4-1000S
RSV 1000R Factory
RSV 1000r
999R

race:
RG250 Gamma RM
NS250R RM
NSR250R SE RM
TZR250 RM
TZR250SPR RM
GPZ400R RM
FZR400 RM
VFR400R RM
GSX-R400 RM

The TZ250 (03/05) is disallowed.

how: Tourist Trophy > practice > world circuits > nordschliefe > free run

please try to stay on track, but, if youve an off here or thats fine if:

you wouldnt have crashed in real life or you dont save a low side while on the grass. no wall touches or delibrate corner cutting.

pro-mode controller only.

you can post as many times for each "class" as youd like and are encouraged to try as many as youd like.

when uploading a replay, please use the tag: holiday ringers

with the road bikes, tyre and exhaust is your own choice.

the deadline will be the 1-10-07 :)

umm, if i missed anything, let me know :)

enjoy!

Can we use the NSR250R SE RM (Honda)? My wrist kind of tingles whenever I race on this track, I don't think I'll be racing here much longer.

i just managed a 7.24.273 on the GSX-R1000, but, i kinda cut the curbing durning the final series of corners. i was just happy to stay on two wheels.

what happened was, going through the stupid fast bend at 180mph, the rear suspesion unloaded i guess and the bike death wobbled all the way up to the chicane. i slightly went over the grass on the right while braking and touched the grass on the left.

i just wish there wasnt an anti-wheel "cheat" perminatelly in place. the big gsxer feels held back by such a long first gear. she really starts spinning once out of first gear though.

an "easy" 7'18.582 with the CBR1000RR, but, it bounes around a lot like the others so i had a few off grass touches here and there while the suspesion moved around a lot.

if anyones interested, ill upload the replays.

7'13.158 on a 999R (sports tires and exhaust). I goofed up at 4 places, I never went off track but I went into death wobbles on three of the four occasions, the other one I kind of got to close to a rumble strip.

Note: My hand doesnt hurt.... but if I go Semi-Pro it dose... I guess constantly being on the gas hurts it. I wont be using it again since it is a pain in the wrist.

I've never had the patience to learn this track properly. I enjoy it but give up too easily after a couple of off track excursions or crashes, so havn't played about much with set up either. Best I've done is 7:12 on the 999RM

I'll probably have a mess around next week with the 999 and R1 but won't be able to trouble you guys.
