Yeah, its the road version mate. I did use stock exhaust and performance tires. In my opinion the stock exhausts work best, since they give better acceleration. The upgrade exhaust only gives a little horsepower for top speed and none for acceleration.

Where do you live by the way? You live in the states?

yeap , Webster Massachusetts

( on top what i had added about the stock exhaust , i think all the bikes have a more original sound too )

Yeah, they all sound better with the stock exhaust. Well since you live in the U.S., you can view my replay. http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/single.php/246

It's semi-pro, it may not have fit your criteria.

No, its a controller mode. Go to your options menu. There will be another menu called "Controllers" and from there you can select from Standard, Semi-Pro, or Pro mode.

what changes does the pro or semi pro REALLY do ???

dind't like at all .. standard feels better ( mid corner picking up trottle ) ... i think is just good for drifting ..

what is you favorite and why ?

Semi, because I'm able to control the rider tuck and not have to worry about the rear brake. I use pro in championship as required, so I'm used to that. It's just the rear brake always acts up

i prefer pro mode now as it is more of a challenge

i think after my examinations i'll have a long go at the ring as i can't find any challenge on Valencia :p

if i have the time, i will be putting (yes, putt-ting) in some times at the ring too. though i have a feeling the cbr 600 in the ttwss will prove a bit too slow on the faster tracks, so i think i have my work cut out for me.

i never even lapped the track so far and so i'm way behind you guys

Decado, what's your best overall time (anybike, any setting) on the ring?
Has anyone here seen that one youtube video of the japanese guy who pulled a 6'45.xxx? That's just crazy. That's about 10 seconds a lap faster than my best time, and I thought I was flyin'.

BTW I just pulled a 7' 23.445 with the CBR. On pro-mode. ;)

ps I hope you all realise that these times, of course, have no bearing what so ever on how fast the real thing can get around any particular circuit. These don't handle, accelerate, or crash anything like a real bike. Having said that, I don't look at it as if it was supposed to be 100% realistic. I look at it as just being different. They handle like they handle and getting these bikes to handle that fast is a real challenge. Personally though, I don't believe that even Rossi on his M1 could get around the ring in less than 6' 50.000. Hmm... MotoGP bike + Nordschleife = hly sht!

Short of the risk element being completely eliminated, the times each bike put out are very comparable with their real-world counterparts. This simulation is as close as it gets to the real thing.

Fastest Ring run, by the way is a 6'41 and change by a member on this forum.

actually, the times, like TU said, are very competitive to what real bikes would do in real life. (take a look at the valencia thread) you have to take into account that in the game there is a reset function. if you crash, no harm, just a few seconds penalty...and it doesnt cost a thing to fix. :shifty: i bet you are willing to take chances in the game that you wouldnt in real life. i ride an R6, 2005. the game is very realistic in terms of performance. yes there are annoying factors like the "wheelie trick" and such, but keep in mind the physics are based on GT4 (which obviously is 4 wheel based, and cars dont wheelie [well, most of them dont].)

i do agree with you that, imo, even rossi wouldnt be able to do a 6.50. i think this goes to the aforementioned risk factor.

Dude that makes ya feel all warm and fuzzy in side thinking about going below 6'50... you did better than Rossi!!

But yeah I dont think any one of us would want to be bouncing around at 230 mph on Nurburgring... although maybe the track is to bumpy compared to the real world?

Edit: I searched for that Japanese 6'45 time on Nurburgring but the only one I found was mine but Im not Japanese lol.

I have the fastest street bike time at like 7'05 with a ZX-10R. I did get beat, it's no biggie because I havent played in a while. I'll probably give the other 1000 cc and 8HR bikes a try. I've ran with that Moriwaki bike for a while, pretty sweet bike. Give it a try.

Yep.

My 6'45 lap is my favorite one. It's confusing but the user KTM93 did the video for me (I have to recorder like he does). My user name is aronk187 (aka -Stormryder-). I was going to redo it with some music but I felt it the video on its own was good. However, my 6'43 time is only 1.2 seconds or so behind sonic's. Though I dont like my 6'43, its to sloppy. So in conclusion: 6'45 time is my best, and the 6'43 was a lucky lap.

Just watched your 6'45 :)

I thought in some places you were scary quick, in others not so much. Overall you are pretty smooth though. Smoother looking than my 6'41. My smoothest run so far is probably the 6'42 motard lap.

I would've liked to see your replay from another camera angle and with the brake and throttle meters. Is your 6'43 on youtube as well?

Thanks for the comment. Yeah I wish it was labeled as a 6'41 or something myself because it was so smooth. I think my issue is I keep changing everything thinking I'll go faster but I mess it all up. Unfortuneatly I dont have the 6'43 on youtube, and if you really want to see it then either I can get someone to make it or I can some how tell you where I brake, etc.
