Diatribe 08-01-2007, 11:17 PM your welcome. does it not show up under your profile?
Aye, just noticed that. Thanks :D
Thought I'd copy that here rather than bumping an old thread.
Have been working pretty solid the last couple of days, but managed to put in a quick 1:27.6xx qualifier earlier. It's hard enough putting 2 laps together here, let alone 7, so the race is gonna be damn tough..
callaghan 10-01-2007, 04:47 AM wow...not a whole lot of activity going on here. well, just in case i cant post another time, here is a sloppy race for me.
total time, 10.22.148 (http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/single.php/387)
1.30.748
1.28.432
1.28.391
1.28.983
1.28.089
1.28.284
1.29.221
there is plenty more in it, probably about another 5 seconds or so for me. but like diatribe said, is tough putting 7 solid laps together. im out.
Man..., that track is living hell. In XXX runs I didn't manage to put
7laps together, let alone race pace:wall:
Like TU would say Brutal
The Uncreated 10-01-2007, 09:11 PM Like TU would say Brutal
Yep.
Hopefully I'll be able to get a few laps in tonight, see how things at the 'screw are.
Uncreated
750F-RM 10-01-2007, 09:36 PM hi all :) i wanted to be <10:30 at this point, but it hasn't happened yet. still, an improvement anyway

callaghan 11-01-2007, 04:42 AM qualifying time for me is now down to a 1.26.960 (http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/single.php/386). there is more in for sure, but i cant seem to find the right set up. maybe in an intoxicated stupor i'll find that magic feel. here's to hoping...http://www.wera.com/graphics/smilies/beerchug.gif

callaghan 12-01-2007, 05:34 AM dropped time down to a 10.20.819. 8O
Diatribe 12-01-2007, 04:19 PM Finally had a free afternoon to spend a couple of hours on this. Not exactly enjoying it though, I've run a 10:23.xxx and a 10:22.xxx but both times messed up one corner where I took up some dirt on the inside :(
mthielen 12-01-2007, 04:50 PM i think that if it only happens once you won't be disqualified if it's not like 3 metres of track :D
Diatribe 12-01-2007, 05:07 PM i think that if it only happens once you won't be disqualified if it's not like 3 metres of track :D
T'was about a foot, but the problem was that I was at full lean and so going by the real life rule, I'd have gone down. Should be able to put in a better time tomorrow anyway hopefully.
mthielen 12-01-2007, 05:08 PM yea you're probably right
mthielen 12-01-2007, 10:13 PM i was just testing a bit because i'm not going to have much time to get a good racetime
my best qualifier is 1'27.2XX but that's about my limit and it's still 0.3 seconds slower then the current fastest time so far posted, maybe i'll give the race a try tomorrow if i find the time
i also tried it today but didn't managed to get 1 race done, but i cautch all of the AI's befor lap 1 was finished. The first bike was 'only' a MV Agusta Brutale RM :D
es nes 13-01-2007, 02:34 AM heh ... ive not turned a single lap yet here :? im looking for to gvs though.
suzukibiker 13-01-2007, 02:12 PM heh ... ive not turned a single lap yet here :? im looking for to gvs though.

mthielen 13-01-2007, 04:26 PM just asking but when do you guys pas the AI which rides in first position and which bike is it?
Diatribe 13-01-2007, 04:30 PM just asking but when do you guys pas the AI which rides in first position and which bike is it?
On that run ^ I went into first at the first right hand turn, just before the bridge on lap 2. I don't know what bike it was though.
It does depend on what you're racing against, as in a couple of my slower but unclean runs, I got into first through the sweeping left after the Corkscrew on lap 1. That was with an MV in the lead, I think the Brutale.
Edit: Just checked my replay and it was the Aprilia RSV Mille RM.
My final race time 10.34.216
CELTIC 13-01-2007, 04:56 PM 10:33:260
es nes 13-01-2007, 07:49 PM if you stay clean, its relatively easy to do steady 1'30s.
10'34.009 with a 1'29.x best lap
750F-RM 13-01-2007, 09:19 PM don't reckon i'd have cracked a <10:30 if i'd played till next saturday :(
so it's 10:30.845 from me, and here's the replay (http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/single.php/389)
hopefully i can do better at grand valley :)
CELTIC 13-01-2007, 10:19 PM Finally Broken into the Twenty's :D
1:31:105
1:28:967
1:29:369
1:29:254
1:30:023
1:30:122
1:29:892
10:28:732 ;)
callaghan 14-01-2007, 12:42 AM new time: 10.18.241. im now finding that my set up has some limitations. i dont really have time to redo everything, but the bike is really moving around a lot! now to work on my qualifyier...
edit: ive got my qualifying time down to a 1.26.833.
DJ Baker 14-01-2007, 05:53 AM 10'34.828 is the best race I could pull off. If TT had a race win percentage like GT4, mine would be about 0.3%.
10'18 is just Sick!
new time: 10.18.241.
nice one:rockon:
Diatribe 14-01-2007, 09:21 PM God I have had the worst hangover imaginable today, just made it out of bed.
Anyways, awesome time Calla! Interesting to see there've been 4 different winners in the 4 rounds we've had, and GVS is always enjoyable. My replays are up as well.
CELTIC 15-01-2007, 12:24 AM You two guys certainly had that one nailed :D
Nice time Calla to pip Diatribe at the post ;)
Personally though I'm hoping our bad tracks are behind us :P
es I'll post replay Tomorrow after work as it's a little late here tonight ;)
es nes 15-01-2007, 06:15 AM calla - does the hondas power trail off that much in those last few thousand revs? or do you shift by the on bike tach rather than the one displayed on screen?
callaghan 15-01-2007, 06:52 AM nah, the power really isnt at the top of the rev range. if i had to guess, at about a cm from the redline according to the tach at the bottom right of the screen, the power just drops like a rock. its usefull for overrev, and when you have like 10 more feet to your braking marker, but other than that, its pretty bad.
damn, i not usually up this late, but i just cant sleep. maybe ill go throw some replays on, i tend to doze off while watching them if im kinda tired and cant sleep...
laguna is a torque track, you need the torque to squirt you from corner to corner. plus, i had to always have the peak amount of power, since its not as fast in a straight line as some of the other bikes.
CELTIC 21-01-2007, 12:50 AM Sorry for the Late replay (http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/files/replays/kawasaki/zx6rracingmodify/775162/REPLAY.DAT) post  Been a little busy all week
