Anyone else following it this year? The Eurosport coverage is brilliant with a 45 minute show every night covering a decent selection of stuff. Very sad to see a rider go down already, I just hope it doesn't happen again in the next couple of weeks. :(
On the flip side it was good to see a brief interview with the 65 year old scottish fella who's riding this year. Hopefully he'll get to the finish safely.
I haven't really paid enough attention in previous years to know much about who's who, but clearly Sainz is looking good for the cars and the KTMs are a force to be reckoned with.
If you've not watched any of it before and have got access to Eurosport then definitely check it out as I can't see how anyone who enjoys motorsport could fail to enjoy it. Probably 'the' race to end all races.
Oh and if you can't get it on tv the eurosport site (http://www.eurosport.co.uk/rallyraid/dakar/2007/) has a fair bit of news and videos updated daily.
