View Full Version : Yamaha TZs and Honda CBRs jamryda 11-01-2007, 01:27 AM wadup, i can't believe i'm just getting to the gallery, but the replay section of the site is so damn addictive :D ...anyway decided to put a few pics up, so here's a couple fine hondas, and an ever popular yamaha! es nes 11-01-2007, 03:01 AM i like the last of the 8Hour pictures. callaghan 11-01-2007, 03:23 AM ditto what es nes said. seems the TZ's were taken at Tsukuba, but where were the others taken at? just curious. es nes 11-01-2007, 05:11 AM the tz are from the TZ250 challenge because his bike has no number. the rest look to be a combination of New York, Trial mountain and ... mid field maybe? just one a suggestion though, make sure youre saving your pictures at super fine quality. callaghan 11-01-2007, 01:45 PM i was tempted to say the first two were taken at el capitan, but i wasnt sure. es nes 11-01-2007, 04:37 PM el cap has sand or dark brown/black bricks lining the track. jamryda 11-01-2007, 11:31 PM yeah, es nes is right, new york and trial mountain for the 7Hondas...i guess you know the tracks really well huh?;) good lookin' for the heads up about using the super fine quality setting for the pictures, because standard mode really looks like crap off the PS for sure! In any case though, it's kinda disappointing that all the saved pictures generally turn out really dark.:eh: jamryda 11-01-2007, 11:40 PM Dark or not though, the Tourist Trophy bikes do look great...the game makers did a fine job i think. They actually made it fun to take photos in the game. es nes 12-01-2007, 01:30 AM when you take pictures, adjust the ev up until the colours start to fade on the tv. im usually using between .3 to 1.0 in the shadows. The Uncreated 12-01-2007, 05:19 AM yeah In any case though, it's kinda disappointing that all the saved pictures generally turn out really dark.:eh: Grab yourself a copy of Picasa2, a free Google offering. Not only is it a fantastic picture viewer, but it has a reasonably good set of picture manipulation tools that will spruce up your images. Real easy to use. Uncreated jamryda 12-01-2007, 05:31 PM Thanks for the advice guys...appreciate it. I think i'll go check out that Picasa2 program right about now too. jamryda 15-01-2007, 05:35 PM  Just some more CBRs... jamryda 15-01-2007, 05:39 PM Cbr 600-1000 jamryda 15-01-2007, 05:47 PM maybe just one more set... es nes 15-01-2007, 09:10 PM looks good, i like the 3rd picture in the last set the best though ou really shouldnt be using a cbr1000rr against a cbr600rr :P the pictures are still a bit blocky/pixelated though. jamryda 16-01-2007, 04:40 AM lol, I swear man, it wasn't for competition, I was just keeping with the Honda theme for the post ;) Great bikes (both the 600 and 1000 models) but I think I've had enough of the CBR for now though...time to move on for the moment yea. I'm actually still working on the best settings for the photo-mode, but it seems that it gets a little tricky when trying to find that balance between focusing the bike in the foreground, and keeping some feeling of 'motion' in the overall picture.:? I guess the right settings really depend on the photo at-hand anyway. I only just got to download the picasa2 software a minute ago, so i still gotta check it out, but hopefully it'll help to make the pics a bit more appealing. |
