Offical Tourst Trophy World Series - The Luck #7s

How to compete:

every race will be held in practise > track name > free run. replays will be required for the podium finishers and will be greatlly appercatited, but not nesacary, from everyone off the podium. to get a replay onto your pc you will need a compatable usb flash card. simply save the replay to the memory card, then in replay theatre on the main menu. select the transfer replay from memory card to usb option (second or thrid icon from the bottum iirc) then upload the replay.dat file to http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/. Replays maybe be vareifyed by anyone, but, only Callaghan and myself may disqualify a replay. if a PAL user has issues with another PAL replay, then please send a private message to me (es nes or callaghan) with pictures and a brief report of the problem and well look into it.

Failuire condictions and automatic/manual shifting are up to the riders prefernce. however, everyone must use pro mode controller setting to ensure everyone has the same base level grip. if you are uncertain, please feel free to ask. also, no cone killing. curbing is usually fine, but, cutting turn 4 at deep forest for example is off limits. you can use the ais lines for refernce some times. refering to deep forest example again, the ai dont cut turn 4.

the ai ... you cannot hit the ai to move them out of the way. if they hit you while making a clean pass because they never adjust their lines while your around, then, thats a case by case. but, always try to stay clean with the ai.

# Riders Team:

The first race will start on monday (3.12.07) and will last until the following sunday at midnight CST. barring any unforseen errors, midnights cst will be a hard ending and no further times will accepted.

points
For each race, Championship points will be awarded on the following scale :
1st 25 points
2nd 20 points
3rd 16 points
4th 13 points
5th 11 points
6th 10 points
7th 9 points
8th 8 points
9th 7 points
10th 6 points
11th 5 points
12th 4 points
13th 3 points
14th 2 points
15th 1 points

team points
Teams will compete for a Championship. All points scored by both
riders in the Team, including substitutes or replacements, will count
towards the Team Championship. Meaning that if one rider scores a first place finish first and second, their points total of 45 (25+20=45) will be the team points for that round.

if a new team is formed with in the first two rounds, ill allow the team the points that were earned between the two riders from the first two rounds. but, if any new teams are formed after the end of the second then the team will start with no points since the team is new technically wouldnt have been around to earn points.

A word on off going off track and walls: its fine to kick up a little dirt here and there on exit or from turning in too soon. but, the lap time/race will be disqualified if you go more than aproximately foot track. you may not hit/touch the walls. if you crash, that lap/race is also disqualifed. if your front wheel touches the grass and you have to save the bike from low siding, that race/qualifing lap will not count. basically, if you would have crashed in real life, but didnt in TT then the lap/race will be disqualifed.

this is to make it easier for us to keep track of whose on what/their number/time to add to the leaderboard/s

rider number 67 please!

keep in mind the PS3 comes out on the 23rd here in England, i hope TT is compatable, does anyone know if it will be or not? have any of you Americalandians tried it yet? i heard that the Euro PS3 would not be compatable with PS2 title unless a fix was availiable to download from the Sony Server.

The European PS3 isn't going to have the hardware thingy (technical term) that plays PS2 games so it has to use software. As a result Sony have to go through games one by one and make sure they work. I think they've said they have a thousand or so titles working from the off so I'd have thought TT will be fine.

i thought it may be fine, just have to find out on the day. i got the bleeding thing on pre-order for what seems like a lifetime now -heh- it's the 3DO all over again *shows age* damn, i remember playing RoadRash on that in all it's wonderful 3d-ishness still have the PS1 copy knocking about somewhere. and what am i getting this time around? MotorStorm! should be fun.

i'll make a post to say if TT works or not on the Euro PS3 when i get it, and a few others if i get the time. roll on the 23rd

its all good. there will be a kind of format for submitting a time, though its just to make it easier to read who has what time. (read: if you dont follow the format, you wont be penalized.) there will be a thread for each round, and the times should be submitted in each round. if you have any other question, you can ask them here, or pm me or es nes.
